Hi mamas,

Well after much consideration we have decided to get my daughter the WII for Christmas. Would like some recommendations on what games would be good to get her for it. I don't want to get her games that maybe too advanced for her right now. I want her to really enjoy it.

Thanks Mamas.

my 5 year old loves the disney wii sing it (disney songs). all you need is a microphone and what a fun evening! she has seen all the movies now she can sing to them! also she loves thw wii sports(bowling). we have played dora saves the princess and disney princess games but my little one had a hard time figuring out how to use the nunchuck to"walk" with. it takes some practice. she also loves any of the just dance games. have fun!!!

My mom is getting my kids Nickelodeon Fit and Nickelodeon Dance. They look like fun. I have a 2, 4, and 6 year old so I'm not sure if the 6 yo will think it's too babyish, but I have a feeling she'll still want to play them with her younger brothers. They can be so silly dancing together :0)

MY daughter loved the Dora ones. I think we had dora saves the snow princess and deigo saves the dinosaurs or rescue something. They have a cute pet one that would be good for her if she likes pets.

My daughter is 6 and she loves the Littlest Pet Shop game. We checked it out from the library, as we had bought other games that she didn't like (such as Disney Princess). It is the 2008 version, so it's not sold brand new any more. We are going to look for it at Game Stop or get it on Ebay. It's pretty easy to play- they collect pets, dress them, and play games with them.

We got a Wii when my youngest was 5....she enjoyed Wii Fit and Wii sports resort but she's really a HUGE Mario fan.

That being said, I'd recommend Kirby. My husband brought the game home a year ago, when she was 6, and it was great. Kinda sorta similar to Mario except with walking balls of yarn...that never die! That's what's so great about this game, she won't get frustrated because the character she's playing can't die. Very cute music and scenery. My girls will be getting Kirby 2 for Christmas and I bet it'll be one if the most used gifts!

my 5 yo loves Wii fit, Wii sports resort, Just Dance for kids, Wii sports. We tried nickoloedan Fit and I find it annoying because i have to constantly re-enter all of his information and it is done in a bizarre way, and he has trouble with the remote features. Build a bear was tough for my 7 yo (and me too to be honest)/ They also have trouble with Mario Kart, although my 4 yo nephew can do it without problems.
