Beach

We do the beach/river with a group of boating friends every Sunday afternoon with friends. We all have various bags, etc. But the one bag that we all have is... the XXL Ziploc bags. They are great for the beach, boat, whatever. They have handles and are heavy duty too. I use the same one pretty much all summer. I usually put the food in one because it wont get wet and the bags seal up just like a ziploc so you can keep sand and moisture out. Depending on which boat we take, I'll put the towels in one also so if the current is rough they don't get wet. You can get them at the grocery store and use a coupon (I'm all about that!) I think one box usually has 3 bags in them. I also have an LL Bean boat bag which I love but it's not waterproof and is hard to keep clean.

I like San Diego Hat Company hats...they are really cute and durable. They are a bit more expensive though.

Don't know about a beach bag, but we used this blanket from JJ Cole that is vinyl and doesn't hold onto sand or anything and folds into a bag that's easy to transport. I got that online at currantbaby.com

I don't know about hats, but I did see some nice beach bags at Ross.

I just bought a beach bag last weekend for our family vacation. I got it at Ross in Allen (The shops of Allen)...it's huge and I love it! There's 5 of us so the bigger the better...it was only $5.99 or $7.99...I forget.

beach bag try landsend.com, as for hats if you mean the ones like straw material, i just got them at gap outlet for my daughters. otherwise i have gotten their hats at oshkosh. pretty good, and last a season.

we got really cute hats and bag at kmart. I got the kids those hats that look like the ones gilligan wore in the show gilligans island. I know they have a name but nto sure what it is lol. I got a big canvas and nylon bag to carry our beach junk in the same time. the kids hats were bright primary colors. I got a viser in bright neon orange that matched the beach bag. something else to consider getting is at the dollar store this time of year. get one of those basket type bags with handles to keep sand toys in. that way they don't get sand all over your other stuff. we always had the kids take that basket/bag thing down and sprayed it with the hose before putting toys away. have fun
