Here's a bunch of ideas:

From salt water, use a hot water bottle, rinse with rum, Sensodyne toothpaste, cloves, oregano oil.....

Hope you feel better soon!

Cloves or clove oil can help.
The other thing I do is get a little bottle of cheap whiskey and swish with it. The longer you can leave it on the tooth, the better it helps numb it.
I usually spit the whiskey out, but a little swig of it might not hurt you.

Toothaches are the worst!
Best wishes!

I know this probably isn't the best thing, but if I didn't have an Thieves oil, I would use aspirin. I would hold it on my tooth. Before I knew about natural remedies, that is what I did.

I am so sorry, toothaches are terrible! I don't know of any natural remedies. I was given codiene and naproxen at the same time and could still feel mine. I hope you get some relief so you can sleep :(

I know it's not natural but 4 Motrin will do the trick!

Or you could always try the cotton ball soaked with whiskey.

Feel better.

Do not put aspirin in your mouth on a toothache!!!! Aspirin is made of salacylic acid and can cause severe burns. Try an antiinflammatory like ibuprofen or aleve. T he max dose of 6-800 mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours and try to stay ahead of the pain. Please get in tmrw. A toothache can lead to a horrible systemic infection and many people do not realize the seriousness. Hope you are able to get some rest.

Why don't you ask a more specific question. We can't help you if you don't put in a better tag line.

Bite on a clove.

Personally, I'd take tylenol & ibuprofen (together) and THEN bite on the clove.
