Can anyone recommend a baby shower location in the Metrowest area? Ideally I'd like a restaurant w/ a function room for about 35 women. I am looking to have a brunch or luncheon the last weekend of May. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

Hi J.,

I highly recommend Coral Seafood in Marlboro on the corner of Route 85 & 20. It is just 2 minutes away from 495. Truly outstanding service, and food. I am a regular there!

The Sherborn Inn is lovely and quaint. I had my baby and wedding shower there-loved it-good food with plenty of room.

The Chateau Restaurant just opened on Route 9 in Westborough and they offer a function room. I have also had a function at the Mulligans Tavern at the Westborough Country Club and that was great!

How about the function room at the Grafton Inn. My baby shower was there and it was very nice.

Also, there's the 1790 house in Westborough. The library is a nice place to have a shower.

Restaurant 45 in Medway is fantastic, classy, food is great, and the atmosphere is warm. Easy to get to. I had my bridal shower there and I just went there for my girlfriends baby shower.

Arturo's on Route 30 (East Main Street, about 1 mile off Route 9) in Westboro has a lovely room. They do a great lunch and have fabulous desserts. The owner is on the premises regularly so it is well run. The Chateau on Route 9 at Route 30 has a room, I think - it's always been there when the restaurant was under 2 different names, so unless they have done major remodeling, it should still be there. They are new to town but part of a chain so maybe you have had their food. Also, the Westboro Country Club on Route 30 (West Main Street) has several lovely areas - it's an old house that has been expanded and there is now an enclosed porch as well as several other rooms, including some with fireplaces. It is open to the public. It is 1 mile west of the rotary in the center of Westboro. Finally, the 1790 House on Route 9 in Westboro is in an old colonial home with many rooms of different sizes. Depending on when you want to have this show, the 1790 House and the Westboro Country Club also have an outside patio or deck. Happy Planning!

I love Bullfinch's in Sudbury (Route 20). If you have the shower on Sunday they have jazz playing from 11 on. It creates a great atmosphere for an event and the food is amazing. Good luck.

My baby shower was thrown for me at Bella Costa in Framingham. Good food - good size room. I believe the pricing is reasonable as well.
