AT&T U-verse - Roanoke, TX

We are considering switching from DirecTV/TiVo to AT&T U-verse. Our satellite is older and we have had recent issues with our TiVo receiver in the living room. Rather than pay to replace/repair equipment, it may be easier to go with something new (not to mention it will speed up internet). What do you like/dislike about AT&T U-verse? Is it worth the hassel to switch? Thanks for any input!!!

What can I do next?

My favorite difference is that with Uverse the dvr in the living room is set to record and it does but then you can watch it in the bedroom not just on the tv connected to the dvr!

We just switch from directv to u-verse and we love the service. We have not had any problems. No black outs during storms and the internet is awesome. I would definately switch. Also the prices seems to be much cheaper.

We were trying to switch as well and weren't able to due to our location. I need to call them again and see if we are in their area yet. I'd go with them :-)

I switched from DirecTV to AT&T U-Verse and would never go back. It was so nice in the last bad storm to have TV which I did not have in storms with DirecTV.

We have had U-Verse for almost a year now and absolutely love them! They have great customer service and awesome prices. We have never had a single issue with the service. I say go for it!
