Do You Recommend Uverse?

It looks like Uverse is much cheaper than Time Warner for what we currently use. Digital internet and cable, 3 dvr boxes, HBO and Cinemax movie tiers.

So What Happened?

I'm talking to them now and apparently they dont have cable tv in my area, but they do have internet. They are partnered with Satelite companies so they are checking to see what offers thay can give me through a satelite company. I'm not thinking this is going to work out quite the way I'd hoped.

We loved UVerse. Then we moved into a neighborhood where AT&T can't go (we now have Frontier, and they SUCK). We miss UVerse!!

I love my Uverse! I have had it for three years and have never lost my cable or internet. With Charter that was a weekly occurrence. Plus they have excellent customer service.

We've had uverse since Nov and it's ok. We had directv previously and loved it but it was too expensive. Hubby works for AT&T so we get a discount on the service, otherwise we'd still be with directv. Overall I think I like directv better. There are pros and cons for both uverse & directv.

They said the price would go up, but it has. We are probably going to to go back to Direct TV as it offers more stations that DH wants, and hadn't gone out on us. When U-verse went out, that was TV, Cable and Internet. All 3 at once. So if you have something else that works, I would saty with it.

Well, mostly yes, but they have made me so mad that I hate them. We have had them in 2 houses. Our first house, we loved them, period. 2nd house, it goes out quite often, and we have had to have new cable lines put in outside twice in the last 2 years, and have had 2 new "boxes" in the house in the last 2 years. Seems like at first it was great but now I feel like they are more concerned about upping the monthly fees than anything else. I wish there were more choices, but like you I have found that Time Warner isn't much more competetive, so why switch. I do like the DVR and the free movies, but in case you don't know it, they don't have the Hallmark Channel, and won't pay to get it either. That's one thing we don't like.

We had Uverse before we moved and we looooved it. Now they don't offer it at our new house, which sucks. I keep calling and bugging them to move it here!
