We had a cowgirl party for my daughter last year.It could easily be cowboy instead. We took aquarium rocks and spray painted them gold then placed them in bins of water and sand. We panned for gold with mini pie pans I had poked holes in. The kids loved it! We also did a pinata filled with candy, plastic badges and harmonicas.

Look into prehiistoric pets. They are in Fountain Valley and are a reptile store, butthey host parties.... They come to your house with bins and bins of bugs and erptiles and the kids can pet some and hold some too. They love it especially boys!!!!! After that all you ahve to provide is a cake, grocery store will do and the kids have all had a blast an you had almost NO work to do.

If you do a party at home have it at from like 1-3 and then you only have to serve cake...no lunch! that will save you definite$$ And remember a 4 year old would love anything! You could get a bouncer (about $100) and then cake. That's it.

Well I would just invite the lil' kids to the party and make ir simple. Hogdogs,or even Lil' Cesears pizza % dollars a pizza and lil ones don't that much. I went to the dollar tree and got generic decorations and they have these candy necklace kit for boys and girls the boys had candy football charms and soccer too. I bought them and had the kids make candy necklaces. the Kids enjoyed that. I spent $60-$80 dollars. thae whole thing is that don't show that this is not the party you would like to have make the best with what you've got, and he'll have fun.

You can make it a luau. Easiest ever. Everyone comes in Hawaii theme. Get flower leis and tape up streamers everywhere. Luau music form a used CD on Ebay.

They have 97 cent metal pails at Walmart. They are small and you can get puffy paints for them to decorate or you can do it for them. Let them dry in the sun and save them for desert.

Make a giant worms in dirt recipe and give them the pails to take their servings in.mud desert recipe.

Get a large clear plastic bowl so they can see the layers. Put gummy worms in them and stick flowers in the top like it's a plant. Later, they can use a plastic shovel to get desert.

Toss in a palm tree bounce house and you're set.

We had my daughter's party at the park and she loved it! No need for any rentals. We just brought some snacks and a cake and the kids had a blast playing on the playground and feeding the ducks.

Have you ever been to Heritage Park in Cerritos? It has a wonderful playground plus and island with all kinds of small "shops" with ladders and slides inside for the kids to play on. It is surrounded by a moat with koi fish and ducks that you can feed from land or from a play ship.

When my son turned four we had a super hero party. This is when all the children dress up like a super hero. My son and all the children love it. We had it at the park which cost nothing at all and we served hot dogs and chips. We also had a cake and small gab bags. We invited only 10 kids and the total cost was about 100 dollars. We spent 20 on the costume, 25 on the super heros cake, 20 on the hot dogs, buns and chips, and 30 on the gab bags, candy, and a small toy for each child. We went to the Dollar Tree or the Dollar store which ever is in your area. At the Dollar store we purchased the toys and some of the candy. You can also buy the ballons to put on the tables at the dollar store as well. My son and friends had a blast and it did not cost me alot of money.
