L.,
That is enough for now as far as activities are concerned. You need to spend time with your child by just interacting with him, playing or just reading to him on the sofa. A relaxed atmosphere that is loving is the best activity you can give your child. I found that too much makes them irritable and uncoroperative. Enjoy he will grow up soon enough and be out and about.

Hi L.,

I also live in Forest Hills and my daughter is 3. The playground is a great place for kids to socialize. There are many good ones in FH. I know it's cold out there but on warmer days they can be outside for a while. And Spring is just around the corner.

Also there is a nice public library where your son can explore books and listen to stories that they read at certain times during the week. The library is located on 71st Ave, half block from Queens Blvd on the north side.

I hope this helps.

Hi! Welcome to the neighborhood.
I've taken classes with my kids at the Y on 108th street. I also know people who've enjoyed toddler time. I think it's at the Church in the Gardens. Enjoy!

You might want to try a local library, they have alot of different things going on. alot of mothers bring them there for story time and puppet shows as well as computers even for little ones. everything there educational.

sometimes the YMCA in your area will offer alot of activities especially for the summer. I live near Jamaica, Queens and last summer my son, who is now 2-1/2 took swimming classes (mommy and me) so I was able to go into the pool with him. At first he was very nervous but by the end of the sessions I think he really enjoyed it. If i wasnt 8 months pregnant I would definately do it again. Hope that helps a little.
