Baby Has Bad Diaper Rash and Soft Poopies...

My DD has had really soft poops for a couple of weeks. This is giving her bad diaper rash. I started watching another little girl a few days ago and noticed her hard poops changed to the softer poops like my DD. They smell really bad as well. I don't know if something is going around or if it is something they are eating? We just moved into a new house and the water here is supposedly bad. I started thinking today, I'm not really sure what their poop should look like. Any help in the poopie dept. will be appreciated!!

I am wondering if anyone has a good cure for diaper rash. I am trying to allow my baby's bottom to get air, applying Balmex, and changing him frequently. I am seeing a little improvement. His bottom is very red and was bleeding a little due to it being so raw. He is in a lot of pain...poor little guy! Thanks for you ideas in advance! :)

What Should I Do for Diaper Rash?

I think my 2 month old son has some diaper rash on the inside of his thighs and his lower stomach above his diaper. I have never seen or felt diaper rash so I'm not sure if that is what it is. The skin is bumpy and feels leathery. I have applied some A+D Ointment on it but I'm not seeing a difference. Do any other moms have any suggestions of anything else I should be applying? Does Desitin work better? Thanks, D.

Diaper Rash with Cloth Diapers

I am new to cloth diapering, and have just started using cloth with my 8 mo old. She was fine for a day or so, but then got a diaper rash. I wasn't sure if I could use cream, so I switched back to disposables. Again today we're using cloth and she has a rash again. She has never had one other than this. I change her about every 2-3 hours and immediately if she's pooped. I use Nellie's soap that a friend suggested. Am I doing something wrong? I would love to keep using cloth. Thanks in advance for your help!

Best Diaper Rash Cream and Baby Wipes?

My 17 mo. old developed a diaper rash yesterday. He rarely gets a rash, but when he does, they're bad. He usually onlt gets a rash if he has diarrhea, which he doesn't have now. His bottom is red, and there are spots that are starting to get raw, but no bumps. He screams in pain every time I change his diaper. I bought some wipes for sensitive skin, but they don't seem to be any different than the regular wipes.
