HI! I have a really large and rather tricky window I am trying to thermally and then artfully cover without breaking the bank! I was wondering where you would shop for the largest selection of options, thanks!

What can I do next?

We bought some pretty cool roman shades (that dont have a cord, even better!) from JCPenney. They seemed to have a pretty good selection, and at a reasonable price, although I do remember we got them on sale online.

I also vote for JC Penney, although I can't recall seeing thermal coverings that wouldn't be at least moderately expensive. We got some made-to-order roman shades a few months ago and I LOVE them! Great patterns available, and I was so relieved to get rid of our 1980s window coverings!

If you have an IKEA nearby that would be awesome! You have to hem the bottom yourself but they always come with fusing tape that works with an iron. Or if you find a treatment that you like that is too thin you can always by canvas (Walmart has it for $5 a yard)and used it as a backing. I use the curtain rings with the clips so it is easy to attach without sewing or fusing.
Hope this Helps!

JCPenney has a nice selection and Adriane is very helpful so I'd start with her. If you find that you need something more custom then I have another good contact for you and her name is Nancy Huber and she can be reached at ###-###-####. You can tell them both that S. sent you.
