Where to Shop for Groceries, Meat, Womens Shoes, Etc in Bakersfield

Ginger, slater brothers is comparable to albertsons but that is one of the more expensive stores in town. I recently started shopping at Winn Co, which is part of the Food Max family and have cut my grocery bill by about $100 a month. Their meat isn't as good as Vons where I used to shop, but you can find better stuff if you are willing to dig. For some reason all the nice looking stuff is always at the bottom. Or if you have a Costco membership you can always get meat and then freeze it in portions, I do that sometimes too. As for womens shoes, the only place to shop around here is the mall.

Try Winco for cheap groceries or Food 4 Less/Food Max. Winco has great produce at excellent prices.

Welcome to Bakersfield. On the corner of Ming and Ashe in southwest Bakersfield is Grocery Outlet. The products change, but the prices are reasonable. Grocery Outlet has stores in many towns.

Good Morning! Where I shop is FoodCo and Ranch Market. I've tried WinCo, WalMart, Vons and Albertsons and more but have seen that FoodCo and Ranch Market are the lowest prices I've found here. I moved from Phoenix, AZ so I undertand.
