Where to Get a Haircut for a Toddler

I tried to cut the bangs of my 15 mo old son while he was asleep. It looks terrible and would like to know where I can take him to have a decent haircut. We have tried a barber shop in the past but he moved too much. Is there a kid place in town I can take him you can recommend?

What can I do next?

Cookie Cutters is my favorite place. The kids get to pick a movie to watch or game to play and then they get to pick where they sit. They have little cars, airplanes etc. The women there are used to working with children and seem to easily work through crying, head jerking and anything else. They are fast and I have always been pleased with my kids haircuts. At the end they get a balloon and a sucker. They also use kid friendly hair products that smell really good! We go to the one at the District in South Jordan but I believe there are other locations.

Cookie Cutters is the only place in the SLC Valley that I'm aware of. There was a place in Sandy, but they closed down a few years ago. There is a CC in Draper and one in Brickyard/Sugarhouse area. They are great! Only a couple bucks more than Great Clips, and much more entertaining for the kiddos. The stylists seem amazingly skilled at cutting hair on 'moving' targets too. Very patient.

Hey! There is a place in Sugar House called Cookie Cutters. They are awesome. The kids get to pick a movie to watch, they sit in little airplanes or cars while they get their hair cut. Then they get a balloon and sucker after. I take my kids there and they love it!
Good Luck!

There is also a Cookie Cutters in Bountiful. I too have had a great experience there with my daughter. As well as my neighbors daughters hair. She kept taking her daughters to other places and ended up with terrible haircuts. At cookie cutters the stylist did their hair perfectly.
