Hi R.: I am a healthcare practictioner and could suggest that if you eliminate all carbs from your diet for these next three weeks you will drop weight and feel and look lighter. You must eat protein often and absolutely NO Processed Foods during that time. No alcohol,or other sugars at all. You can eat meat, cheese, fish, tofu and all the vegetables you want. No Fruit, No potatoes (or really any root vegetables, no grains, no milk, no pastas or breads...Only: Protein and vegetables (above ground: salads, greens, squashes broccoli etc) and often...sometimes 5-6 small meals daily . Cream in coffee or tea is ok, splenda if you must. Also drink half of your weight in ounces of water a day.
Good Luck, L.

This may sound weird, but when I'm dieting, and I really want to buckle down, I brush my teeth whenever the urge to snack hits. I'm not talking about not eating, I'm talking about when you want to snack between meals, and know you shouldn't, because when my breath is fresh and minty, I don't want to eat. And buy those mint strips, the strong ones, or any strong mints, for while you are out and about. Even gum helps, (but makes me bloated sometimes). There have been times where I was brushing like 5-6 times a day! It really is just a habit, all the snacking we do, and after a few days or a week, we will have filled that time with something else. And added bonus: a cleaner, brighter smile! Good luck, and have fun.

I would STOP taking the pills and just diet and exercise. If you're still hungry on those, you should get your thyroid checked! If your doctor says it's OK, you could do the Adkins diet. You eat ONLY protein (maybe a very small amount of carbs, like 20 grams the 1st week-and only from small portions of veggies and salads.) You eat fish, chicken, meat, cheese & eggs. Eat as much as you want and you could still drop 10 lbs a week, no problem. After the 1st few days, your body gets rid of the sugars in your body, and because you're eating all protein, you're not putting any more in. It's hard to explain but it puts your body in ketosis and you burn fat all day and night. I know people that have lost 40 lbs a month on it. It's not a diet you should do forever, it's just helpful in dropping weight fast. It's not for everyone, but it's very simple. You can get the book at any bookstore or library. Another reason I think it will be helpful for you is you're NOT hungry AT ALL. The fat in the foods you can eat satiates your brain into thinking you're full. Because you feel fuller, you eat less-even though you can eat however much of the recommended foods. There's other things you have to do, no caffeine is recommended, no gum or candy or cough drops, unless they are sugar free, etc.

Things that help drop weight over time are: switching from coffee to green tea, eating one daily serving of low fat dairy, watching the glycemic index of the foods you eat and trying to keep it under 50, drinking lots of water and no soda or juice, and of course exercising, including strength training. A quick jump start to the process is a 5 day high fiber cleanse by USANA called RESET. It's scientifically formulated and MD approved, so it is safe, with no drugs are weird herbs. Average weight loss is 3-8 pounds. Look at my website: www.nutritionspecialist.usana.com for more details. Good luck!

I wouldn't suggest taking phentermine. for me, it's all about the intake. What foods I eat greatly affect my weight, whether I exercise or not. It's hard with the holidays coming up and the leftover Halloween candy. I threw all that away. Stay away from refined stuff, like bread. Even eating lots of fruit has natural sugars and that affects me a lot. Stay with lean proteins and veggies. Good luck!!

you need to eat more protein( about .5 to 1 gram per body weight) and counterbalance less calories in, more calories burned out, simple as that, also decrease your amount of sodium intake and processed food intake, and increase yoru fluids by half your body weight in ounces . Exercising 3 times a week is great!! If only we could get everyone in America to do so! Kick it up a notch though if you only haev three weeks to go. DO 3 20's if you have access to a gym? 20 min on treadmill, 20 min on the stairclimber and 20 min on a stationary bike. Then resistance training on your opposite days. IF you can't get to a gym. Jump rope, its an amazing cardio workout with strength training in one, as well as pilates and yoga. Squats always do the trick as well good old fashined push ups. (Its not how many reps you complete, its the quality of the reps you are performing) They sell these videos just about anywhere, and you can never beat good old fashioned walking. Walk everywhere for the next 3 weeks! you'll do it if you put your mind to it :) GOOD LUCK

10 pounds in 3 weeks is hard, and could be bad for your health. My suggestion and it worked for me is Monavie.
It is a mix of 19 fruits, the whole fruit with skin, core and all. Main ingrident is Acai, which is picked, freeze dried and put in this drink. Acai is now being used for anything from Lukemia, cancer, diabities, weight loss, high/low blood pressure, this list goes on. In my experience, it suppressed my appitiete immediatly, leaving me not hungry and no cravings. But it was still helping my overall health. Google Acai, i guarantee, you will not find anything on the market that contains more Acai then this product, reason why, is cause Monavie has the Patent for this fruit. If you need more info. visit my website, Drink39.com or Monavie.com
The prices in my website are retail prices, if you are interested i can tell you how to get it wholesale.
Good Luck, A.!
