Hi Mom. I am looking for a venue to hold my daughter's sweet 16 celebration on August 6th from 7-10 in the Arlington/Mansfield/Grand Prairie area. I want to be able to bring food in and it needs to hold at least 75 - 100 people. I've check the community center in Mansfield, but you have to be out by 9. Any ideas? Oh yea, need to do it as economically as possible! :-)

What can I do next?

Contact Lake Arlington Baptist Lifestyle Center. Sherilyn Conn is your contact. They have a room that might fit the bill. I believe you will have to pay extra to stay until 10, but it might be worth it.

Check the local lakes and or parks to see if they have a pavillion you can rent. Then go from there to plan the food/games. Good Luck!

We've used Molly's Burgers for a graduation party before. They have a private room that holds plenty of people, the rates are very reasonable, and they will supply the food (really good food) as well. It's at I-20 and Little Road. The owner is super nice, and all the staff is really helpful too.

Oh, and I think they'll just rent out the room if you want food brought in instead, but I'd check it out. It's been a while, so I forget.
