Need Place to Have a 6 Year Old's Birthday Party

My son is turning 6 next month and has his heart set on a pirate themed party complete with a treasure hunt. The problem is that we're putting our house on the market the weekend before his birthday and I don't want to lose an entire weekend of showings to have the party at our house. I need a place I can rent to have the party; it can't be a park because if the weather turns bad I can't move it to my house.
Does anyone have any ideas of a place I can rent to host his party?

What can I do next?

I wonder if you can have parties at the Tree House or the new Great Wolf Lodge?
GOOD LUCK

Not sure where you live but the Grapevine Community Activiies Center hosts parties and does a fantastic job. I had my 5-year-old's party there in November and it was great. They do all the planning, set-up, coordination, clean-up, etc. based on your preferences. They were easy to work with and very accomodating.

There are lots of places you could choose, Ellen's Fairway, a skating rink, Chucky cheese,Alot depends on the area of town you are in. In Grand Prairie there is a baseball complex w/ a PArk and a small building that you can rent for the food and if the weather is good they could hang out at the park, play baseball, football or if you have remote car's they could have races. Boys find things to get into. Got a get back to work! Have a great birthday party and good luck finding something.

Surely you have a friend/relative in the area that would let you use her yard and house if you cleaned up after?

contact your local recreation center or fire department. They will typically rent out space for a reasonable price. Good Luck!

Not sure where you live but in Bedford and Euless you can rent rooms at the recreation centers like Midway and the Bedford Boys Ranch and they are very reasonable.

Also I saw some pirate items on the dollar aisle at Target so you might want to check them out.

Check with your city or surrounding cities. I live in Grapevine and our city has several different rooms you can rent. I have also rented a room at the Bedford Recreation Center before as well.
