Stuffed Animals
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to take stuffed anmials. I have 4 large bags of good quality stuffed animals. I would like to know if there is a place I can donate them, or is Goodwill the best bet.
Thanks!

Check with Blue Santa. I know that they used to put a stuffed animal in each child's package.
Ours were too well loved to even think about passing them along to other children so my husband too them to an animal shelter. They workers there were thrilled and said that there was a shortage of stuffed animals for the animals at their facility because people just didn't think about animal shelters when making that type of donation.

If you have a Ronald McDonald house in your area, I know the kids would love them.

You might consider Brown Santa. I pulled this from their website.
All donations need to be new and unwrapped. We do accept very gently used toys if all pieces are present and are in excellent shape.

I personally preferThrifttown in the Cherry Creek Plaza at 5700 Manchaca Road... corner of Stassney and Manchaca

Goodwill might not take them. I tried to donate baby toys and was told that Goodwill no longer takes children's toys due to the recall blitz from the past few years.
I ended up donating those toys to the Austin women's shelter.
