Seeking Sites like Craigslist
I am looking for other sites like Craigslist. I heard there are more but I can't seem to find them. I have three kids and only one of them has bedroom furniture. Money is tight and I like craigslist but they don't have what I am looking for.
Know any? Thanks!!

You can go onto Freecycle-charlotte.com or babyfreecycle-charlotte.com
There are a HUGE amount of yard sales going on this weekend. A lot of community yard sales. Look at Charlotte Observer online, or your friday paper. They do yard sales by zip code.
Post on Charlottemommies.com . THis is a huge community and there is a board for buying, selling and trading.
I have found things on there that people were looking for, that I had but had not yet posted to sell.

It's fantastic! I have purchased and sold many things through the website. Write again if you want more specific details.
There is also one for http://www.lejeuneyardsales.com
Good luck!

newschannel5.com has a free listing.....
Tennessean.com lets you list items for free for Saturday's paper and it stays on the website for a while....go to their site, and click on classifieds, then go thru the "free" process and cancel as needed once you have found the information you are looking for...

I'm not sure how this site works as far as whether we live in the same area or not, but if you live in the Wilmington area, you can go to wilmingtonyardsales.com... great site! It lists upcoming yard sales in the area, and also allows people to post items for sale. If you're not in the Wilmington area, your town might have a similar site but it might take a little online research. Another great site is freecycle.org. You're almost guaranteed to have a freecycle group in your area... a great resource for when you need something or have something that you need to get rid of that isn't ready for the landfill. Hope those help!

Hello! I'm not familiar with Craigslist but.....I bought M. son's full-size bedroom furniture from Rooms2Go KIDS. He had just turned 2 at the time(he is 3 1/2 now), but M. husband and I decided to get him something he could grow in. Our whole idea was, "Find something he can keep until he gets ready to go to college, and if he want's to take it with him, he can." We chose furniture that could go with whatever "theme" his bedroom may be over the years. Although, R2G KIDS does have "themed" bedroom furniture too. (If you're not looking for anything long-term like we were.) They do, however, give you different options of sets that you can choose from, depending on your budget. AND I'm pretty sure they have a clearance section you can look at that has some discounted pieces. Hope this helps! God Bless you and your family!

Hi,
You might try Freecycle. They have a group in most major towns and cities. If you go to freecycle.com you can see which group is nearest you. It's simply a place where people post what they have to give away and/or what they are needing. There is no charge for anything, ever. Hope this helps out!

hey there, another site you can go to is called freecycle.org and you can join for your area. It is a group of people that advertises what they have to offer and also what they are in search of. Everything on the site that is offered is free but it is usually a first respond gets it. Anyway, good luck.

I am not sure about online sources for furniture, but M. mom bought cribs for her house, for the grandbabies, at Once Upon a Child. Maybe you could check them out, I know they are constantly getting new "slightly used" furniture. Good Luck

There is a FreeCycle in Lexington. It's a YAHOO group. Just google FREECYCLE in where ever you live to see if there is one in your area. People give away really nice things that they just don't use anymore. Nothing is allowed to be sold, everything is free. I hope that helps.

You can put a 'wanted' ad on Craigslist. I do not know of anything else that is done on a large scale similar to Craigslist. You might also want to check out consignment stores and large, community yard sales, too.
