Seeking Location for Toddler Birthday Party

I am currently looking for a place to have my daughter's 2nd birthday party. I would prefer a place with one stop shopping, i.e food and entertainment provided. I live in Desoto but will travel.

incredible pizza , chucky cheese, or McDonalds are the classics

I believe the little gym does parties. There is one in the arlington highlands center by the parks mall.

I am assuming you mean that you live in Desoto Texas. If that is true, then I have an idea. My 3 year old just attended a birthday party at the beginning of the year at a place called Pump It Up. IT is located in Desoto off of Autobahn Dr. and Beckley Meade. I do not know how much it costs but you can rent the place out for a couple of hours at a time and I believe they provide most if not all of the food(ie, cakes, pizza, ice cream).Hopefully this helps.

Until they are old enough to really comprehend and tell you what they want for a birthday party, it is really for the parents not the kid. Until our daughter turned 4 and actaully started inviting people to her party herself (4 months before it got here) we ony had a small family party at home.

It is great that you want to mark the special day, but remember after all she is only turning 2. Save those special location and themed parties for when she is older and really WANTS them. Trust me, you will get into the situation where you will want and feel you have to top the party from the previous year.

Chuck E Cheese! =) Never fails!

I agree with Denise D that until they are old enough to comprehend what a birthday party is about, the party is really more for the adults and not the child. 2 year olds can be very unpredictable. Have a simple home party with just cake, presents, and close family. Don't overwhelm her with strange people and strange things.

My first son is 23. I had a birthday party for him every year until he turned 12. Until he turned 3 the party was just a waste - more for us then him. With my 2nd child I didn't have any parties for him until he turned 3. He enjoyed that one and we did it at home too. They both remember their 4th birthday party because we had a live entertainer come to our home and perform but that's the earliest party they both can remember.
