I am seeking a Pediatrician in Mckinney, Tx with long years of experience.. but .....not retirement years for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. I would like a clinic close to home that also is able to take chest xrays...if needed since my daughter has had pheumonia twice in the last year.

What can I do next?

TLC Pediatrics in Allen- in the medical offices at Presby Allen. OR
Dr. Burton- All About Children Pediatrics in McKinney off ElDorado. I recommend both offices highly. My husband is a RN and has worked with both doctors and thinks highly of them both. I take our kids to TLC. Hope this helps!

I'm very happy with Pediatric Healthcare associates in McKinney off Eldorado, near Hardin. My son needed an X-ray yesterday and they sent me to the Hospital off 75 and Virginia which was very close.

Here is their website - I've seen Menchaca and Dr. Frank. Both have children of their own so I feel they have real life experience to add to their job.

FYI - their nurse line is AWESOME and they always get back to me promptly when I have questions on whether I should bring my children in or it's not a big deal about something that have.

They came highly recommended from some mom's in my mom's group when I moved to Texas and we've been using them for almost 2 years now and I'm super happy. I never have issues making appointments and the staff is super friendly.

Good luck!!

Another recommendation for Pediatric Healthcare Associates. They are wonderful. We usually see Dr Sutton and she is great. When my daughter was battling a nasty bout of the flu, she called us after hours several times to see if she was improving, and when she heard she wasnt she met us at the hospital to admit her. She was not the Dr on call that night, just cared enough to make sure we got our daughter comfortable. The whole practice seems to have that level of caring and compassion.

I dont know about the chest X-rays, but if we ever needed any tests they couldnt do they referred us to medical city in McKinney which was very close and convenient. When we got there they already knew we were coming so it was pretty easy.

I highly recommend PHA (Pediatric Healthcare Associates) as well. We started with All About Children when my son was born, but left the practice to move to PHA when he was about 2 for a number of reasons. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend AAC. I wish we'd have started with PHA in the beginning. Dr. Kessinger and the entire staff is great.
