Recommend a Stylist for Hair Cuts for Boys with Trendy Long Hair Styles.
We are in the process of moving to Blaine from MO (will be there next week). Can anyone recommend a stylist in the area who is good with trendy cuts for young boys. I have a 10 and a 4 year old who both have shoulder length hair. They need a trim before school starts and the oldest one is worried about having someone new cut his hair. He is a bit fashion conscious and since he is going to be the new kid at school I want him to feel comfortable. I would hate to go somewhere and have them chop at his hair not knowing what the current popular cuts are. ANY advise on a stylist or salon would be greatly appreciated.

I live in East Bethel with my husband and daughter. My husband works at 3M but he barbers on most Saturdays. He has been a barber for over 20 years. He works at the sportsman barbershop in St.Paul. It is on the corner of Clevland and Vandalia.Two other guys work there(owners) and they only do men and boys hair. They are located right next to major universities so they are up with the trends.They don't take appointments but get really busy on Sat. so I would get there early.You could call them for directions. Sorry I don't have the number with me I am at work. Just call info for the number and then you can get directions. It will take about 20 minutes to get there from Blaine. I work in Blaine. My sister is a stylist and has a 12 year old boy so she's "in the know" about what's in. She works at VanStrand near Brookdale Mall. (It's in the strip mall where Target is.) Her name is Sarah. Let me know if you want more information!

I am a stylist in Coon Rapids (next door to Blaine). I work at The Image Creator, and have been a hairstylist for over five years. Kids under 10 are $15. I also have a 20% back to school special going on through October.
I love doing longer hair boy cuts. They are always afraid that we are going to give them the "plain men's" cut!
Stop in for a complimentary consultation and your boys and I can pick out some pictures of haircuts they like. Then they won't be nervous.
Your 10 year old will be the best lookin kid in the whole school!
