Hi I am new to the area, just moved recently from NY and looking for a really good salon in my area, there are soo many out there and I just want to find someone right for me. Back home my cosmetologist sister would always take care of me, I have rarely in the past 5 years or more been to a salon to have someone else do it, so I am a little nervous about finding the right person.

Hi E.,

I found a great salon in Reading (not too far from Peabody) when I first moved here. It is called Salon Fringe and it is at 2 Haven Street. The stylist who cuts my hair is Jessica, and Gary, the owner, is great too. She charges bout $50.00 for a cut. I haven't been there in a while because I went back to FL for about six months, so hopefully she is still there. Which reminds me, I need to make an appt.! The salon's phone is ###-###-####. She really is great.

Good luck!

Hi E.,

Welcome to the North Shore!

I highly recommend Alison Fioretti at Abrie Salon ###-###-####). Alison is a Goldwell Color Specialist and does terrific work (I've been seeing her exclusivly for the past 10+ years).

Abrie is located in Danvers Ma right off of Sylvan Street - right by the Liberty Tree Mall and Sylvan Street Grille (right on Peabody border).

Tell her E. referred you! You'll lover her, I promise!!!

Honey Jo I just sent you an email...I'm looking for a hair salon as well. I'm picky about my highlights (blonde)and since moving to the North Shore a few years back I have yet to find a stylist I love.

Also, regarding Salon Couture, I see you that Lisa or Konrad were mentioned...are they the best colorist as well? On their website, it shows Donna, who is the owner and Master Stylist...anyone have any good experiences with her.

Thanks!

HI E.,
I agree with Ali,
Go to Salon Coture and ask for either Conrad or Lisa. Both worked at a high end salon in marblehead before going to Salon Coture (they are much less expensive now then they were and give the same great cut :). They are awesome! DOn't let the location of the salon fool you it is top notch!

Lisa and Conrad are really good. They have good prices too.

Good luck!!!

I go to Lisa and am picky about the right blond, do not want to be brassy at all. She is great and gives a great blow out too. My friend goes to COnrad, I think he costs more but does a great job with blonds too. I like Lisa b/c she has the same hair as me.
