Does anyone know of a place that could host an event for 50 people, with tables, chairs, & electricity for a reasonable price? I live in Arnold & have checked out the Rec Ctr, Comm Bldg, my church (FBCA), & Urgent Care (they no longer rent their rooms to the public). Any other suggestions with contact info? I would like to do this on a weeknight in late Nov/early Dec.
Thanks!
J.

Hi J.,

You should try the Comfort Inn at Richardson Road. I was told about this place when we were looking for a place for my baby shower a year and a half ago. I want to say it was like $100 to $150 to rent. The room we were in even had a little refrigerator, sink and coffee maker. If I'm not mistaking there were about 50 or so people at my shower and we were all pretty comfortable.
Here's the info:
Phone - ###-###-####
Address - 3610 West Outer Rd
Arnold, MO

Good luck with your search.

Hi J., have you tried any of the VFW halls?? I know some of them can be some what reasonable. But check out the conditions before you do. Or I heard (at one time) sometimes the Knights of Columbus in Arnold will rent space. I don't know anything about memberships or how that works, but a friend told that to me once before. OR a Local Union hall in the area sometimes too. I have a Surprise 50's birthday party for my mom a few years ago and we rented the Local Union Hall (I forget the number of it but it was on Hampton) and it was reasonable. Hope that helps! Good Luck!!

I just read the other two gals on the blog and yes, i've heard good things about both of those places too!! I've been to one of the Comfort Inn Suites before for a conference and they were good, as well as the Holiday Inn in South County.

Try the new VFW hall they just built. Those halls are usually inexpensive. Or the Elk's Lodge on Miller Rd.

Have you tried the Carpenter's District Council on Hampton? They have great rooms and a huge kitchen. Bathrooms are nice to.
