My niece is having a baby she is 30 weeks. The family is going to throw her a shower. I am wondering if anybody knows of an inexpensive hall in Macomb twp. preferably in the Roseville area. I also was looking for any ideas for the shower, such as food, games, decorations. She is having a girl. Thanks.

What can I do next?

My shower was held at Julianos in Warren.. It is nice, about $10 - $12 a person and great food. They have two rooms in the back that they use as the banquet rooms. You can book 1 or both... the wall in the middle comes down to combine both rooms. I had my wedding shower their too....
65 - 70 people max.

I'm not sure how inexpensive it is, but there's the Vintage House in Fraser on Utica Rd. near 14 Mile. My friend's aunt and uncle used to own it, but they recently sold it. You may want to check it out.

I had my shower at Crank's. It is at 696 and Hoover. It is a nice place, and the food and everything was great. It was a great price too. I was really happy with it. ###-###-####

Also, check out Barrister Gardens. It is on Harper, between 9 and 10 mile. They have good prices and include alot. It is a nice hall also. ###-###-####

I just stuck with colors for my theme. We did green and yellow since we didn't knwo what we were having. We did little white flower pots with yellow and green bow and yellow flowers for the favors and bigger pots for the centerpieces. We did baby bingo for a game. If you have a while till the shower, just keep your eye out for nice items on sale at Kohl's, Walmart, Penney's, etc. and you will gather lots of nice prizes in no time. Instead of wrapping them, we put them in cheap gift bags. I loved my cake too. It was actually 4 cubes that looked like baby blocks. Have fun!

I have done wedding and baby showers at the Olive Garden, reasonable. Only drawback is that it is not in a separate room but off to one of the ends. Really not a problem though. Also check out Georgian Inn, 13 and Gratiot, little more expensive but food is great. Had my step daughters wedding there. We did her shower at El Charro's, the guests loved it!!

Hi

I know you said Roseville area, but I had my baby shower and both of my boys baptism parties at the American Polish Century Club 33204 Maple Lane in Sterling Heights, just north of 14 Mile. Their number is ###-###-####. They are really reasonable and really great to work with. They supply the linens (you choose the color) and center pieces if you want them. Call and speak with Laura, she was great for all three of my functions!

Good luck!

Most dollar stores have great decorations. Baby bottles as center pieces and then she has some bottles.

Remember purples and colors other than pink are nice for girls too (I just had a little girl and everyone is PINK).

Hi I recently attended a baby shower in the Roseville area specifically on Gratiot at 13 mile rd at the Best Western Georgian Inn. They have banquet halls and a restaurant. The hall was nicely decorated and the food was great. Hope this is helpful. The phone number there is ###-###-####

I live in Roseville and had my son's first birthday party at the American Legion Hall on Utica Road between Gratiot and 12 Mile Road. It's a really nice inexpensive hall. It cost us $60 per hour and was perfect for what we needed. You have to bring all your own food and drinks but they have a kitchen, fridge, bar, etc. All of the tables and chairs were set-up for us. The phone number is: ###-###-#### and the man that runs it is named George.
We had my baby shower at The Barrister House on Harper south of 9 Mile Road in SCS. It was very nice and the food was great.
I also know the Roseville Community Center has rooms that you can rent for parties.
For center pieces at my shower, we had pastel watering cans with real flowers inside. We gave blue & white M&M's in small tins for favors. I had to order them special but I bet you could find pink ones right now for Valentine's Day! We had a game where we melted different candy bars in baby diapers and you had to guess which type of candy bar it was. Kinda gross...but really fun! The prize for that game was a candy bouquet.
Good Luck!

Check out the Roseville rec center. I am throwing a shower there in March. They three rooms to choose from either 50, 60,or 100 people and they are each $155 if you are a Roseville resident. Their number is ###-###-####. They provide tables and chairs, you provide the rest. I got some good deals on decorations at the dollar store on 13 and Harper. As for food we are making dinner size salads and Mostaccolli(spelling?)
best of luck!!!
