I Need a Place to PARTY!

Last year we started what will an annual tradition: a kiddie Halloween party. We had so much fun last year - we got a face painter, an AMAZING kiddie musician, decorated cookies, decorated pumpkins...it was such a blast. The only problem is that there were too many people in our house! We had to move out furniture!
This year, I was hoping to do it at Fantasy Kingdom, but they are booked for that day. I am looking for a place where we can eat, do a craft or two, and host the musician...any thoughts? I liked the idea of Fantasy Kingdom because it fits with the Halloween thing without me having to do too much decorating.
The age group is roughly 3-6/7 years old, with most being in the 5/6 range (and there will be a few crawlers).
Does anyone else know of a place that can handle 75ish people (this is total, kids and adults) that would work for something like this? I don't want to break the bank...$400-$500 and they have to let us bring in our own food...

What can I do next?

You can try the union halls (VFW). They can be a reasonable prize-under $400.00.

Break up the party into two days.....still hosting at your house. Or have an early session say 12-3 and then a later on from 5-8. Good luck!

Kid City of Grand Avenue (around Wood street). Open play area, costumes, kitchen and a place to put out your own food.

I agree with your local park district or YMCA. Or, you can check with your church or a local church. Churches will often rent their social hall and you can bring in your own food etc.

The park district is the way to go! They have big spaces which don't cost much to rent. Hours should fit what you need. You can bring in food. They supply tables and chairs. The only limitation is no alcohol. Have fun! Sounds like a great party!

You could try a YMCA or the park dist though they tend to have limited hours.
