Quick - Need Information What to Get

Hi - I got wood letters for my girls' room for their names, and had finally put them up on the wall the other other day. Some of the letters have fallen off so what I used was thick both side stick tape on the wood to stay on the wall, but apparently the texture on the wall makes it hard for the stick tape to stay on the wall. Anyone recommend what I can get to make it stick to the wall better? I plan to run errands this morning so I hope to purchase it while my kids are out with my mom this morning :-)

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I glue-gunned ribbon on the tops of the letters and and tied a bow at the top of each letter and then hung the letters with thumb tacks up on the wall. The ribbon really softens the look for the letters and adds some color and character to the wall.
goto: ebay and type in wooden letters they have some samples to look at on that website really cute ideas.

At Joann's Fabric, they have velcro to be used for hanging curtains. One side has no adhesive and the other has STRONG adhesive. Stick the adhesive to the letter and nail the other side to the wall, right through the center of the velcro. Then just velcro them up.

I bought some stuff in the hardware department by Bulldog Hardware called Stic Mount Adhesive Roll. It works great if you use it on most of the surface space. I used half a roll or so on Three letters. The letters are still up. It comes in different widths as well.
