Hi L., If the tile is porious, then surface treatments won't work. Pour a little bleach on the area and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. That should work. Good luck.

Try this Earth Scrub Tub & Tile Cleaner: Mix 1 2/3 Cup Baking Soda, 1/2 Cup vegetable oil liquid soap (ie Murphy's), 1/2 cup water, and 2 Tablespoons white vinegar. When the vinegar hits the soda, you will get bubbling, so mix it in a quart bowl then store it in a pint plastic container with a lid. Use it like Soft Scrub.

The magic eraser has always worked great for me. Tilex is great, too! Try pairing the two up. Good luck!

There is this great stuff called Scour Off made by Shaklee. It is a very mild paste made from cherry pits and raspberry, so it smells great and will get anything off of tile. Just use a dab on a wet sponge- you just use a dab. It is nontoxic and chemical free, which is good for kids. It is great for metal sinks, cleaning ovens, it gets scuff marks off of walls & ceilings. My daughter used it to get red crayon off of her white kitchen cabinets- it is awesome. Can be bought through a Shaklee distributor. If you don't know one, please feel free to check out my Mamasource business, M. Goes Green. Good Luck!

Did you try just using the eraser end of a pencil? Usually something dry that has friction should work.
