Hi momma's last week I found out I am expecting. This will be my second pregnancy. I have 8 year old fraternal twin girls so I feel like we are starting all over again but very excited but I am VERY anxious and very high strung right now because I am deathly afraid its twins again. I'm very early on and had to make a trip to the ER for severe cramping and then it just disappeared. I have had no bleeding whatsoever. I followed up with my OB the next day. They drew my blood again on Friday and I am still waiting for that to come back. The last time I was pregnant my levels were very low and they thought I had an ectopic pregnancy but as it turned out I was pregnant with twins. When the ER did a sonogram the girl didn't see anything because I was just too early. She said they normally cannot see anything until week 4. My blood test and urine confirmed the pregnancy at about 3 weeks and my HCG level was at 663. I want to find out NOW if I have more than one and it appears I'm just going to have to wait until January 12th at my confirmation appointment to find out because they will do another sonogram then. I will be 7 weeks along then. I want to know though........I guess I'm just looking for a bit of support because no matter the outcome I know God will be there for us but its so frustrating because I want to know-I guess last time I got spoiled because I found out twins at 4 weeks along. Oh well I guess it will be whatever it will be.......

What can I do next?

I can relate! I have two year old twin boys. We are 12 weeks pregnant, and I couldn't relax until I saw the ultrasound. Even then, I needed to see one more time that I'm only carrying one baby (which I am). The chances of having twins more than once is somewhere around 1:10,000 or 1:15,000. But, nothing will make you feel better until you see that ultrasound. Good luck!

I saw some of your other posts, and I wanted to let you know that I hope all goes well, because I am also due at the end of August (my son is now 5), and it would be great to have someone to talk to through this all! Good luck with everything!

Awww I totally understand. However, I always wanted twins. Since you have twins, I am sure you are not too thrilled with the thought of having more twins. If God is to give you two more babies, be blessed. God thinks you're a wonderful parent to raise children or he would not have given you so many!!
Congratulations!
