New in New Orleans & Looking Looking for a OB GYN

I love my OB/GYN, her name is Dr. Sherri Godbey at Tulane Multispecialty clinic on Broadway in Uptown. She is very nice and personable. I felt very comfortable the moment I met her. She also sees children. The office # is ###-###-####.

Dr. Samual Alexander is very nice.Very patient and easy to make appointments. His office is by Lakeside hospital in Metairie. Pediatric group Carousel Pediatrics. Dr. Ellen Mclean and her group.She has two other doctors in the group Dr. Rademacher (very nice and she is good with children) New younger/doctor male(blanking on his last name), very thorough from what all of our friends have said.(both his dad and granddad were pediatricians.) The practice is next door to East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie. Dr. Mclean and her group have seen my babies(8 and 9 years old) since birth. Most of our close friends have transferred over to this group by word of mouth. Even open most Saturdays for mornign emergency visits. You can still get an appt. pretty quickly.We love carousel peds!

Congrats on your baby!! Enjoy everyday b/c they grow and change so quickly. Our 1st is now 10 months old and chatters up a storm and is trying to walk...so different from that tiny baby that it seems was born not very long ago.

Kathryn Wild (Lakeside Women's Specialty Group) is fabulous! She was my ob/gyn for several years and then delivered our baby last fall. I was a pregnant worrier and she and her nurses were great about providing me with all the info that I asked for and putting me at ease. I also appreciated the fact that she was willing to let me try to deliver with no meds but understood that I might change my mind mid-course and she was flexible. She ended up at Lakeside Hospital on the day that I went into labor even though it was her day off and she returned to deliver the baby after 7pm.
I know their practice is busy so if you can't get an appt with her then I know one of her partners, Robin Bone, is good too.

I LOVE my ob and all the women in her office. I had a twin pregnancy with chicken pox, preterm labor, and high blood pressure and she was fabulous through it all. And because of the complications I ended up in the hospital and saw everyone in her office depending on who was on call. They were all great. I know 2 of her other patients who both have cervical issues and think she is wonderful. Her name is Kathryn Wild at the Lakeside Women's Specialty Center at East Jefferson General Hospital.

A. again, my doctor is Dr Cohen of the Women's Medical Center on the westbank. Wonderful doctor, great gyn. She does not do ob anymore but is part of a group that does. I can't remember the address but she is in Gretna off the westbank expressway

Rebecca Perret, MD at Touro - She is my OB, and my husband & i had the most Fabulous experience w/ her. (I delievered in June) She's super smart, sweet, very funny, and very practical. A huge plus is that she actually spends time with you during exams - it's nothing like most managed care doctor visits. She's very open-minded to your preferences/dislikes and is great about telling you all sides to a situation (i.e. medications,delivery options,etc)
Can't say enough how awesome she is. She's in a group - the other docs are good too, but she's definitely the best.
