We are wanting to get my daughter a new kitchen set for Christmas. She has one right now, but it doesn't have a refrigerator and she really wants one of those. The problem is, this was handmade and is fairly big, perfect for storing all of her stuff in. So I would want to get her something that had alot of room for storing her kitchen supplies. Any suggestions would be great!

What can I do next?

Maybe you could get one that adds to the one she already has? I've seen grills and small kitchens with the refrigerator, you could just get one of those and add on to it?

If I were to buy my kids a new one, I'd get the Little Tikes Grillin Grand Kitchen.

We have the smaller version of this, the kids like it a lot...I just wish it were bigger now.

I'm not sure how crafty you are but this looks really easy and SO cute! You could probably pick up an old entertainment center at Goodwill or a garage sale for 25 bucks, AND you could customize it with your daughter's colors/decor and name or whatever!

Why don't you just let her "cook" with you each day? Mine did that starting at about 4 and by the time they were 14 or 15, they were/are pretty handy in the kitchen. What a gift to teach your kids how to really cook. They eat 7 days a week, 3 times a day for life. Plus that has been the best bonding time one on one in the kitchen cooking some of my grandmother's recipes.

Good luck.

We really like our Step 2 set. They have a lot of different models, so you can see which one suits you best; all are similar, but different sizes and configurations. I just went to amazon and put in "Step 2 kitchen" and lots of choices came up. They hold up really well.

I looked high a low, found my perfect one, but it sold out during the Christmas season. Whatever you decide, buy is soon.

I second the KidKraft suggestion. We have this one...

I got this one because I loved the colors and the storage, but it looks like there are a few others that may have even more storage. Note that these ship free on Amazon, which is SO nice! :) Great deal! And my kids play with our kitchen every day. We've had it since my son turned two, he's 4 now and it's held up very nicely! Good luck!

You might want to consider just adding a fridge piece to her current set. The Land of Nod's outlet store has a great wooden one.
