Need a Good Local Jeweler

I'm looking for a good local jeweler to do some jewelry repairs - things like a bracelet, couple of rings, etc. Someone in the Carrollton, Lewisville, Frisco area. I've dealt with Jared and Zales and I'm just tired of those chain stores. They don't honor their work and it's not very good to begin with.
If you know of anyone - let me know!

What can I do next?

We've used Fuller's on Marsh in Carrollton/Addison for years. They make custom jewelry there as well and stand behind their products and services. We deal with a long time gentleman, Ken George, but all are great there.

Go and visit Roc Rawlings Jewelly, at the corner of Trinity Mills and Midway. He's been there forever so he must be doing something right.

I have had great service from Nasr Brothers. They are not cheap, but you truly get what you pay for.

I would recommend Van Peterson Fine Jewelers in Irving, TX. They are off Story Road just North of Hwy 183. 2201 North Story Road, Irving, TX 75062-7065. ###-###-####. They made my wedding ring with the dimond off my engagement ring and changed my engagement ring band to a solid band I can still wear. They have also fixed the prongs on other rings and replaced lost stones. I have been very happy with them.

I have used Beasley's Jewelry in Old Town Lewisville on Main St. when my diamond fell out of my engagement ring. They did excellent work and the price was less expensive than what they quoted me.
Their # is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I always take my repairs to Texas Jewelry in Carrollton.

They are family owned (Father and several sons) and they always call me with an estimate before they start any work. I have occasionally bought jewelry there becase they do some of their own designs, but I always take my repairs to them even if I purchased it from other stores.

I'd recommend Classique Jewelers in Frisco. They are family-owned, know their business, are honest and dependable. Although I personally haven't had items repaired there, I know people who have and they were more than satisfied. They are located on Preston Rd., just south of Lebanon, in the Tom Thumb shopping center.
