So What Happened?

Thanks guys to all your advice! I actully took her to the doc. and they ran all sorts of test and the one that stuck out the most was the pelvic ct scan. so she was referred a specialist. she went today and they stuck a carema down in her belly. he came back and told me that it was acid reflux and gasridous( how ever it is spelled) neway its bc the acid in her stomach is to much! so he gave her some provicd and said if shes not better in 2 weeks. to come back and if not then he wants to see her in a month! so i will keep you updated! thanks
M.

Hi M.,

It wasn't long after my daughter turned 10 that she went through all of this and it kind of threw me. It is happening to girls younger and younger now the doctors say due to the environment. She went from playing with dolls to almost instantly wanting nothing to do with them anymore :( They grow up so fast! Each child's body reacts differently than the other so symptoms for one may be alot worse than for another. Good luck with everything ;)

M.,
I didn't understand the end of your request. What are cimmecials? and you said that her 18 yr old sister hasn't had any symptoms. Did she have the same symptoms before she moved out?
Another thing.... make sure the dr checks for a hernia.
And I wasn't sure if you meant this or not but do you think that your 9 yr old is havning female 'period' pains and symptoms?

Did I understand that she is no longer having symptoms since her sister moved out? They could be stress related. I know often there is a lot of stress at home as older siblings become more independent & challenge their parents. Does she get along with her sister or did they argue a lot?
I suffered from school anxiety when I was 10/11 and had severe stomach aches and headaches. I had no physical reasons for my symptoms.
You might also have her checked for food intolerances or allergies.
It could most certainly be hormone related. If your general practitioner cannot give you a diagnosis ask to be referred to a specialist if her symptoms don't resolve.
I started at 10yrs. Is she having breast development? That's a sure sign as to what's going on. With the hormones in the meat Americans eat and other environmental issues it's common for girls to start at 10 or 11.

Girls start at all different ages. I have heard that if girls are over weight that they are more likely to start younger because they have more hormones in them. I was chubby when I was a kid and I started my period when i was 10. I hope that this helps.

I wish I knew something to tell you. My 9 yr old has what seems like cramps to sometimes. But I was told she was too young to have them. I am the only other female in the home, & it doesn't seem to happen around my period. But I know it is not just a stomache ache. She tells me her stomache hurts but it is close to her private. Please let me know what you find out, I'm very interested

I strongly doubt that your teenage daughter put off chemicals that made your younger daughter sick.

However, with headaches so bad that she is throwingup - that sounds like a migraine.

As for the stomach cramps - it is not impossible for her to be trasitioning into puberty at this time. My own grandmother started her period at age nine, my mother age 10, and my daughter and myself at age 11.

You will know for certain when you get her test results back.
