It started with one leg and one arm now both legs, sometimes alternating, and now arms and tonight her neck is in pain. We are waiting for blood results... so far nothing uncovered - any ideas. Note she saids constant/steady pain no waining of the pain. She is skipping sports due to this - yet my wife said after school she was running around with a friend. Please not she is not saying it's a particular joint (knee, ankle..) for example, she will say pain is entire leg or below the knee.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

So far all blood tests show normal - no lyme, no inflammation signs

Are there any other symptoms? Rashes, swelling? It could be juvenile arthritis, lupus, or something else, depending on whether there are other symptoms. You did the right thing by getting blood work and seeing a doctor, rather than brushing this off.

My son had inexplicable pain around the same age. Went through every test the doctors could think of. Turns out it really was "growing pains." I never had them, but his dad did. That said, follow up with the doctor and if you're not satisfied, go see a specialist. Oh - and you may want to request all available blood tests for Lyme.

If it is indeed growing pains, I had a friend who got good results for her daughter with Chinese herbs from an acupuncturist.

I'd go to a Lyme specialist and I'd go to a doctor who specializes in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Lyme can be misdiagnosed, so I'd look for a specialist to do the test.

Make sure she's drinking enough water, eating good etc and/or taking vitamins. Bananas are good for growing pains. Consider a chiropractor also.

This has changed quite a bit since I first read it.

My second guess is - if doctors can't find source and she goes to school, plays with friend, pain constantly changes.. then she doesn't want to play sport.
