I will tell you that Fabuloso is the best cleaner! It is so cheap, but it works great. I clean houses and my customers remark how their house smells clean for days. I use it for floors, counters, toilets, bathubs, everything..And I agree about the swifters wets, I use them every day and once a week I mop with the fabuloso. You can get it at wal-mart or even Dollar store..

I just got a Shark Steam mop at Costco for $69 and I agree - it's great, easy to use, the pads are washable so you don't have to keep buying new ones, and there are no harsh chemicals. I have tile floors and have been very happy so far.

My all time favorite mop is a mop i got at sams. its made of rope. It clips on and off & I throw it in the washer. It might be the kind used for commercial use. I love it.
I use mr clean all purpose cleaner.

Yes I do have some good recommendations for tile cleaner but not mops. All I have is carpeting throughout my house. Steam 'mop'. The Shark floor steamer is the best floor cleaner for, wood, tile, carpet and also furniture & curtains. It's about 100.00, probably not what you want to spend, but it is the best 100.00 I have spent. There are no chemicals, no rinsing, no buckets just clean. The steam has removed everything, every stain on my tile floors. Good luck!

Bar keeper's friend is the best cleaner for everything!!! It is in the polish section at walmart. You won't use anything else. I use it for everything.

I hate traditional mopping! I dust mop with the Swiffer mop and then put on a the Swiffer wet mopping pad thing with the scrubby strip and mop away. It's so much easier than a mop and bucket, and you just throw the germs away!
