I use OB/GYN Associates of Ithaca. I've only seen the midwives, but have been very satisfied with my experience there overall and am likely to continue with them after my baby arrives. ###-###-####. They have offices on 89 across from the hospital, and on Arrowwood drive near the Urgent Care center (close to the airport).

They were recommended to me by several friends, when I relocated back to the Ithaca area after a long absence.

Hi M.,

I don't know of a female ob/gyn here, but I absolutely loved Dr. Cruz who is with Cayuga Women's Health. He is an amazing doctor and very respectful and caring. My husband liked him, too, and he and his partner Dr. Torrado were fantastic with 2 difficult deliveries. Good luck!

Ithaca OB/GYN has both male and female doctors. They are all wonderful! I normally go to the Midwives and I like them even better. They work together and the midwives do require that you make at least 1 trip to the Dr ofc. I went there for both of my pregnancies and everything in between for the last 7 yrs. I highly recommend both of them.

I use OBGYN associates. They are truly wonderful. My OBGYN saved my son's life. I will never see anyone else. The midwives are great too. We saw them before we had complications and were mostly happy with them. The appointments with them didn't seem as clinical and I felt the joy of pregnancy more. Good luck with your choice!

OB/GYN associates is your best bet. The midwives that work with them are great and their offices are across the street from Cayuga Med Center. 2 years ago I was pregnant and had a miscarriage, they were very understanding and helped me through the very difficult time. I also go to the offices on Hanshaw for all of my GYN needs. The people are very nice there. I was going to see Dr. Sullivan because I was going to have a VBAC and the midwives needed me to have an OB as backup in case things went awry. My husband and I are planning to try again for baby #2 and this is where I plan to go.
