Seeking a Good Gynecologist

I love my ob/gyn. He is across the street from Charlton Methodist Hospital not too far from Grand Prairie. His name is Jorge Saldivar and his office phone is ###-###-####. He did my Mirena - no problems. I've used him for 10 plus years now.

I just had to switch after going 19 years to the same one. I'm going to the hospital right there at 20 & Matlock to Russell Dickey. It's a whole group of them but I can't remember the name of the group. They also have an office up by Arlington Memorial on Randol Mill & Cooper, which is where they deliver all their babies.
If you get pregnant again, they always have one of their doctors on call on designated days, and that helps with them not breaking your appts. when you're scheduled to go. You can also rotate between all the drs to get to know them before that might happen, or you can say you want to stick with the one.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Doctor. Her name is Dr. Christina Littrell 4224 Swiss Av., Dallas, she's not too far from Baylor Dallas. ###-###-####.

Dr. Keith Storts is the absolute best! He's with Omega OB-GYN and has an office on Matlock (Mayfield) and also one off of 287 in Mansfield. ###-###-####

Dr. Stephanie Carson -Henderson. She is in Bedford, TX. But she is worth the drive. I live in Arlington so its about a 15-20 minute drive for me however, she is completely thorough, sweet, great listener, calm and she can help you with anything ! If you ever have any problems after 5:00 p.m. , call her emergency line and you will be connected to her or the 2 other doctors.

I have a great OB/GYN in Arlington. Her name is Janis Cornwell - she is at Medical Center Arlington @ Matlock and Mayfield. She has been my doctor for 9 years and delivered both my boys 8 and 5. She is wonderful - has a great personality and has a great staff. I have nothing but wonderful things to say!! Good Luck and Welcome to Texas!

I love my ob/gyn. Its Jean McClintock with Northlake OB/GYN she has an office in Medical City.

My ob/gyn is in irving, His name is Jeff Livingston. He's with MacArthur OBGYN (close to Baylor irving off of 183). AWESOME and so is the rest of the staff. I'm not familiar with Mirena birth control, but he could likely point you in the right direction.

Dr. Coulter Smith, out by Baylor Grapevine. May be too far for you. But, she's great and comes highly reccomended. The practice is Women's Integrated Healthcare.

I used Dr. Paul Daum. He has an office that he works out of a couple of days a week in Midlothian. He also has his main office out of the Mansifield Methodist Hospital. He is an excellent doctor and very personable. He has will answer any and all of your questions and he will always try to make you comfortable.

I have gone to Dr. McCullough (male) for 8 years, and he delivered both of my kids. I highly recommend him. His office in near Abrams and 360. The number is ###-###-####. If you go, let him know K. Smay refered you.

In Arlington, Dr. Angela Walker with Matlock OBGYN is AWESOME!! She did my Mirena and also uses it herself. She delivered my 2nd daughter and is a great lady.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Froeschke at Matlock OB/GYN on Matlock at Mayfield in Arlington. I love him.

I use Dr. George Theilen in Irving. He saved my best friend and her baby during a difficult birth a few years ago, and he has been my Dr. ever since. His office is in Irving right behind Irving Baylor Hospital. Not a big fancy office, just nice caring people.

Dr. Patrick Weix right off of 635 in irving is great! I have the Mirena IUD which was recommended by him and it was the best choice for me. He delivered my baby and his staff are always so friendly and understanding. Look him up..he just got a brand new office right off of MacArthur Blvd. They will even work out a very reasonable rate if you are a cash paying customer with out insurance.

My doctor is in Mansfield and does Mirena. I think she is great, but she might be too far away for you. Her name is Dr. Westerholm. I can give you more info if you are interested.

I really like mine. Her name is Lauren Monti and is located at Baylor Hospital (less than 1 mi east of downtown Dallas). ###-###-#### - 3600 Gaston Ave, #560.

I know this is not all that convenient from Grand Prairie, but I can highly recommend her.

I have an excellent gynecologist. He is in Irving. He also works with other ob/gyn's in his office. I wasn't sure how I would feel about going with a male doc but he is awesome! I am a single mom and have had financial trouble. He knows this and gave me some of my more expensive treatments for free. His name is Jeff Livingston and his office is MacArthur OB/GYN. They have a website too. I would strongly advise you against Mirena. I had it for 3 years and it gave me recurrent bacterial vaginosis. It's an infection and it's the opposite of a yeast infection. I battled that infection the entire time I was on Mirena. My doctor removed my iud (free of charge) and gave me NuvaRing, which I absolutely love.
