Hello! My brother recently moved out to Wildwood and would love to find a great pediatrician in my neighborhood, or even in the surrounding Chesterfield area. My neice and nephew are still under 2, so finding someone that isn't looking to retire in the next few years would be great. Gender is not an issue. Mainly looking for someone highly recommended that has staff priveleges at St. John's and relates well to children and parents. Your suggestions would be very much appreciated! My brother and I both thank you!

i have read some of the comments you have gotten back, and i noticed my sons office came up. I take my son to Dr. Gerald Lowther with West County Pediatrics. ###-###-####. everyone in that office is amazing. staff is friendly and yes Marla is really good, she is a family friend. Dr. Lowther was my pediatrician as well as my sister and brother. So we are very close to him. He is amazing!

My children go to West County Pediatrics-Dr. Kent Killian. We have had three other pediatricians in the area and I can say I am really happy with Dr. Killian. He is very sincere and never rushes you through the appointment. I have not had any issues getting in to see the doctor. Sometimes, the phones are pretty busy on Mondays but otherwise I haven't had any issues with the office staff.

Dr Kenneth Levy, Woods Mill Pediatrics ###-###-####

Great pediatrician, very good diagnostician. Both my 2 year old and 7 month old have seen him since birth. His associates are very nice too and his nurse practitioner is excellent (although he will always see you if you don't ever want to see a nurse practitioner).

Hope this helps!

Dr. William Ross, Gateway Pediatrics at St. Lukes Hospital has privileges at St. John's (I think) and is one of the best pediatricians in the metropolitan area. He was trained by Dr. George Sato who was the guru before he retired. Any one of the doctors in this office would be great, but Dr. Ross is "da MAN".

Wow! It's great to see the praises for West County Ped! I used to take my children to Dr. Kent Killian as well. (I also live in High Ridge) He is a GREAT doctor in my experience. However, the drive really got to me. It seemed my kids were sick at least once a month for a while. So, we reluctantly tried Dr. Sue Jagler with Fenton Ped. (she is older though). My 8 yr old daughter definitely prefers a female at this time. We are still considering keeping Kent for my son's doctor. Good luck on your choice. Kent has a gentle voice and seems to genuinely care about how your child feels and questions you may have. I never felt rushed in his office. He doesn't seem to over prescribe antibiotics either. I have had the same negative experiences with the office staff, unfortuntely.
Best of luck! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to email me.

I take my son to Dr. Kent Killian, who is with St. John's Mercy Medical Group. He is the best. My son was premature and Dr. Killian handled everything wonderfully. He is soooo patient, sometimes he has to explain things several times (and ways) to me and NEVER makes me feel anything but great about myself as a mother (he's even said I'm a good mom). He gives you a lot of time, never rushes the appt., I think he's given us over 30 min before. I can't tell you how happy I am with him. I live in High Ridge, so I travel over 40 min just to go to him. His office is on 16555 (old)Manchester Road, Wildwood, MO 63040 and the number is ###-###-####. Good luck

We also have been going to West County Pediatrics for the past 10 years. We see Dr. Michael Carney. He was recommended by our old pediatrician that was retiring. We have been very happy. He even has evening hours for well visits for those of us working Mom's. We have actually seen everyone in this group and they have all been wonderful. He is basically at Manchester and 109 across from the Schnucks.

We go to West County Pediatrics in Wildwood. We see Dr. Killian-we love him, but the office is another story. Long waits on hold and no well-child area. There are 3 other dr.s in the practice-Dr. Bayer and Dr. Carney-we've met both of them and like them a lot. Dr. Lowther is there also. He is an older Dr., so, will probably retire sooner or later. We didn't care for him a lot. Once you get through on hold, you can almost always get a same day sick child appointment-even when you call in the afternoon. The nurse practitioner, Marla, is awesome!

St. Louis Pediatrics at St. Lukes. It wouldn't be that far of a drive. My son sees Dr. Skoulchi (don't think I spelled it righ...I never do). I live in Imperial and make the drive because they are such a great office. There are several pediatricians in the same office. The always reserve time for same day appts. If I have a question or concern....the doctor calls me back....not a nurse or nurse practioner (not that they aren't qualified or whatever) but its just nice that the dr himself takes the time to call me back. ###-###-####. Good luck!!
