Hello Ladies

I know you have received a lot of requests about pediatricians, but I need one as soon as possible. We do not have pediatrician yet because we just moved ( I have been doing some research) and I need one to check my 7 yrs old boy.
My kid has a rash that started last Tuesday; it started on his cheeks and the next day, I saw a mild rash also on his abdomen and lower back. I though it was an allergic reaction to a trimmer when he got a haircut because it appeared the very same day of the haircut. I called my kid's former pediatrician, and she told me to treat him with Benadryl and see what happens until Monday. Today, my kid has the rash on his arms and milder on his cheeks. He has no fever at all and no itching . He was kind of tired during the weekend, but he looked so normal and active like everyday. He has all his shots, and he was vaccinated since he was born, and the only direct contact with children has been at school. My 18 mo old baby does not present any sign of any rash at all.
Have you heard of Dr Linda G. Bick or Dr. Rosa Suarez S?????
Please any ped in Ballwin or around Clarkson, or Clayton or Manchester would be appreciated. Another pediatrician in Ballwin would be OK as well.
Thanks in advance and have a great day moms!!

We see Dr. Betty Cross at MO Baptist. Her number is ###-###-####. I can almost always get my kids in same day. But, not for sure if she's taking new patients. But, she's really nice and good! Good luck and I hope your boy is doing better soon :)

Hello. I would recommend Dr. Killian at West County Pediactrics ###-###-####. The office staff may be abrupt sometimes, however, if you say your child needs to be seen, they will schedule. My oldest is 7 and NEVER have I had to wait the next day. Well, actually-I have waited but only when it appears viral and needs to run it's course. The key issue is that I have definitely always been able to get in the same day if I wanted. The issue about a rash is interesting. The nurses that take calls at West Co. Peds. always tell me that it is too difficult to diagnose a rash over the phone and it would be best to bring the child in. I don't have any suggestions about the rash otherwise. May God's peace be with you and your family.

We go to a pediatrician at West County Pediatrics-it's on Manchester, less than a mile west of Clarkson. western Ballwin/easternWildwood. We see Dr. Killian and like him. There are 4 Dr's and a nurse practioner. It's hard to get through on the phone, but they always get sick kids in the same day. They're number is ###-###-####. Another great place is After Hours Pediatric Urgent Care-they're located at Clarkson/Baxter-up the plaza from Toys R Us. They are open every night from 5-9 and on the weekends, no appointment necessary. They also usually just charge a normal office visit copay, not the urgent care co-pay. They've always been wonderful when we're in there. Quick, also, we're never there more than 45 minutes. I'm not sure of the #, but it's in the phone book.
Good luck!

My entire family goes to family medicine practitioner in Overland, Dr. Pelikan. He is with Family Practice of Overland, and he always gets us in the same day if there's something urgent going on. The phone # is ###-###-####. It's less than 10 minutes from Clayton, right off the Page exit on 170. Good luck!

We really like our ped doctor - Dr. Kent Killian. I'm not sure how fast they can get you in since you are a new patient (didn't have to try it!) But he gets established patients in really quickly. He is with the Mercy Medical Group (St. Johns Hospital) and is located on Manchester (in Grover) next to the Schnucks. His number is ###-###-####.

Another thought - an urgent care center. We've been to the St. Luke's one on Clarkson, just south of Clayton.

Good luck!

Dear Alejandra,

My son is 18 mos. old and has been seeing Dr. Laquita Graham at St. Luke's Hospital Medical Buildings since he was born. He had a few very scary medical issues in the past year that she picked up on right away. She is very sweet and easy to talk to, very reassuring as well. She also sends her patients to Children's Hospital, which is a wonderful hospital. And if she happens to be off (she's off on Wednesdays) on a day you need her, all of her partners have been wonderful, excellent physicians. Her office number is ###-###-####.

Good Luck!
L.
