Hello,
I recently found out I am pregnant with my 2nd child. I am looking for gently used working mother maternity wear, anyone selling clothes, or know a good place to look. Budget is tight as we're obviously trying to save, but I will need clothes to wear to work. :) I'm not far along now, but due in May...thanks for any/all help and suggestions.

J.

There is a consignment store on wadsworth, and I think 48th, by where the Big Lots is. It's called My Crib. They sell maternity clothes, and I've gotten tons of really cute stuff for really cheap there. Also, if you head to the Colorado Mills Mall they have a motherhood outlet, and a few times a year they will put out racks of not perfect clothing (like a pocket sewed up, or a tiny hole at the bottom of the jeans etc) and it is way inexpensive.

I have bought quite a lot of nice work outfits and the local second hand stores for a fraction of even clearance cost at a regular store. Also ebay is a great place for clothing lots. What size are you? after November I should be getting rid of mine.

I would suggest checking Craigslist...I bought a couple lots of maternity clothes and was happy with what I got. There are always new item listed, so check frequently and when you're done, you can sell them again.

You can also check zwaggle.com for other gently used clothes and baby gear. I've had success in getting rid of some of my old baby stuff in exchange for things my kids can use.
Good luck!

Hi J.,

When I was pregnant with my daughter (also Peyton) I found a place called Fuzzy Kiwi. It is in Broomfield and has limited hours- but very worth the drive. I found great things including a Pea In The Pod dress with tags on for only $40. Everything else was much cheaper, but I needed the dress for a wedding so it was perfect. But they carry gently used (some upscale) maternity clothing.

Good luck!
A.
