Are There Any Second Hand Stores for Maternity Clothes? Where?

Hi Everyone!
Being pregnant with number 2 here, and I'm starting to grow out of my regular pants. I need something in Maternity, but I cannot believe the prices out there for brand new stuff. I cannot afford to buy maternity clothes for $20 or more a piece that I'm only going to wear for the next six months.

Are there any second hand Maternity Stores out there? I live in Peoria, and I'm near the Arrowhead Mall. Well, not that near, but it's the nearest Mall to me. LOL What are the stores names/ locations that you know of?

Thank you for sharing!

hi G.!
I don't know what size you are but I have 2 pairs of motherhood materinty jeans, a couple other pairs of pants from there as well, & about 5 shirts. I think everything is size M. I felt the same way about spending so much on clothes I was only going to wear for such a short time. Luckily my mom took me shopping & split the bill with me so I pretty much got my stuff for half price. Let me know if that size will work for you.

Hello!
I actually went to a store called Other Mothers when I was pregnant with each of my 2 boys. Like you, I didn't want to spend a lot on clothing I wasn't going to be wearing very long. There used to be one on 67th & Peoria by Safeway but I'm not sure if it's there any more. But I do know there is one out on Bell & RH Johnson Blvd, which is a little before Bell & Grand in Surprise. They even have kids clothes there!

I have a bunch of small shirts and medium (and a couple large) bottoms for sale. I have jeans, pants, skirts, etc... I have them on craigslist for $3 a shirt and $5 for bottoms. I can make you a deal if you buy multiples. I am at I-17 and Happy Valley. Everything is in really good condition. Let me know if you are interested :). Other Mothers is probably your best bet also. I went to Goodwill, but they have gotten a bit expensive!

Some places to try that all carry maternity clothes. Kid to kid on 75 and Thunderbird- they have baby stuff, kid stuff and Maternity clothes. Other mother- lowest price but not very well organized or clean. They are on Bell rd and RH Johnson in Surprise but they have several locations in the phoenix area. Once upon a child- They are having a sale on winter items now. They are in Surprise. The Goodwill has a lot and there are many locations. I have found Ross and T-j max to the the best place to find new maternity clothes cheep. I hope this helps.

I enjoy a place called Kid to Kid, it is located at 75th Ave and Thunderbird on the southwest side behind the KFC Taco Bell. I use to shop at Other Mothers and the quality at Kid to Kid is MUCH better! You can also go there for baby items. They have used and new and will purchase items from you for store credit or cash back. You get more if you do store credit. It is a family owned business and extremely customer servie oriented. They have mostly baby stuff but they do have some maternity. They even have diapers at times. I just LOVE this store.

You can also go to Walmart when they have sales. As for shirts go out and purchase ones that you would enjoy after the pregnancy, I still wear a few of my maternity shirts.

The other option is ROSS or TJ Maxx.

I wish you luck and hope you do enjoy Kid to Kid.

Hello!
I got a lot of my things at Savers and Other Mothers, though the Motherhood Store also had some great sales when I needed them. There is also a Motherhood outlet store in the Anthem Outlet mall, in case that helps!

Kid to Kid is in Peoria off 75th Ave. and Thunderbird (southwest corner by a pet grooming place). They don't have a huge selection, but they do have a section for used maternity clothes. Also, Other Mothers is a Mother-Children used clothing store at Bell and the I-17 (they have a website you can check, as there is another location in Surprise off Bell Rd. near 128 Ave.) So, those are the 2 second-hand stores I know of. You can also probably check Phoenix Craigslist, but that would consist of a little more time, energy, and driving. Finally, I found some good deals at Target and Motherhood, but obviously they're probably a step higher in price than the used clothing stores.

I hope that helps. Sorry if you get lots of repeats of this same info.! :)

Other Mothers is the best one, they are the cheapest too. I love Other Mothers, I started shopping there just before I got pregnant with my first born. I have looked at other second hand stores and they charge way too much for used clothes. Also someone else mentioned about the 67th and peria store, that store closed down last year and they opened a new store in surprise at rh johnson and bell. The one in phx at I-17 and bellrd takes the most though, they have a better selection because they are a bigger store.

I know "Other Mother's" has used maternity clothes for really good prices. The only locations I know of on the Westside are I-17 & Bell Rd (Across from the dollar theatres) or Surprise - Bell Rd & RH Johnson (Just east of Grand Ave.) Good luck and congrats on your 2nd baby! :o)

There are a couple of stores that I know of that carry some maternity clothes. I am not sure how much since it has been 5-6 years since I had to purchase them but it is worth the try. "Other Mothers" is located on the south side of Peoria Ave right before 67th Ave. You can buy and sell used items at this store. The other store I know of is "Twice as Nice" on the NE corner of 43rd Ave and Peoria Ave. Give those two stores a try. I bought from there and it came in handy. You can also try a Good Will store. They have maternity clothes too. Good luck.

I think it's called Kid to Kid - on 75th av. and Tbird. They have some. I would check Craigslist as well - I see some on there as well. I would pass mine off, but I'm just getting into mine for the second time as well. Good luck

I know that once upon a child sells maternity clothes that are second hand. I bought a few pair of shorts & tops there during the summer because I was smaller this time that the last two pregnancies. I know they have one in Goodyear which is off Litchfield & McDowell by Best Buy, but there is also one in Surprise according to their ads, but you would need to look on their website because I am unsure of the location. Their site I believe is ouac.com, they also usually have a ton of nice baby clothes and equipment, we buy most of our boys stuff there now. I just had a baby in January and depending on what size you wear I have a ton of maternity clothes I am trying to sell for cheap.
