Looking for a Sprinkler Park near South Central Denver

My soon to be 5 year old wants a birthday at a sprinkler park. Does anyone know of one near DU/ University Hills (area that we live), Central Denver, Greenwood Village or Highlands Ranch that might also have a playground to keep the kiddos busy?

What can I do next?

Westlands Park between Belleview & Orchard off of Quebec has a sprinkler area. It's a fun park with an area you can reserve to eat and set up a party.

Westlands Park on the corner of Quebec and Orchard has both a sprinkler park and an awesome playground. It's right behind Greenwood Athletic Club. Good luck!

Hello,

I can't remember the name of it, but there is a great sprinkler park across the street from Belleview Park and Pirate's Cove off of Belleview. You actually go west of Pirate's Cove on Belleview to Windemere, turn left, and then take I think your first left into the park. At first you just see fields, but as you wind around you will get to the sprinkler park area. There are also two big playground structures (one for big kids and one for little kids). The sprinkler area has a big sprinkler flower in the middle and then a bunch of areas where water shoots up at random. It is really fun, but there isn't a lot of shade. Hope that this helps!

There are at least two parks that I would reccomend. The first is Westlands Park. It is right next to Greenwood Athletic Club at Orchard and Quebec. It has sprinklers/water jets but also is a great park. The second is at the corner of Belleview and Windemer (accross from Pirates Cove and a mini golf course call Colorado Journey)

Both are fun- though in the past it has been hit or miss whether the jets are on due to weather and water restriction issues.

Hope this helps,
A.

Belleview Park is also cool. It's by Pirates cove on Belleview in between Santa Fe and Broadway. It's not a sprinkler park, but it has a stream that the kids wait in, a playground, a train, and a petting zoo that both cost a dollar each. It's cheap family fun.

The park that Kathy is describing is Cornerstone Park, off of Belleview and Windemere. It sounds like it is what you are looking for.
