I've Got a Question About Cycles After a Tubal Ligation

I have been regular since my early 20s. After having some challenges to conceive, we had three kids is just over 4 years. I had my tubes tied during my last c-s last year. I started my cycles again last summer and things have been fine until now. I keep thinking that I will start my period any day now and nothing. It's now more than 2 weeks late. I have an appointment with my regular doctor on Friday and with the Gyno Dr. in July. I'm starting to worry about my physical health. Has this happened to any of you? One thought may be pre-menopause?

I'm 38 and did purchase a pregnancy test about 10 days ago. It was negative.

(Just added a little more information that might give a little more insight.)

What can I do next?

I have had my tubes tied for 6 yrs now and my cycles have been nothing like they were before. They were very regular and light, now they are the opposite.

I've also had my tubes tied. I did have one month where it was late, then another month where it was early then it straightened out again. Have you been under alot of stress lately? That can sometimes mess with things. Good luck.

I would purchase a pregnancy test.

I know it's very unlikely, but you could be pregnant. A small percentage of tubals don't work, even after some time (happened to my mom). Any changes or stress in your life lately? I've missed periods due to stress before. You don't mention your age, but peri menopause is a possibility too. Good luck.
