Is Pregnancy Possible?

Ok, this is going to sound strange, but I'm really beginning to wonder if I could be pregnant. 2 years ago, we found out I have had 2 strokes during previous pregnancies. In March I had a Tubal and Ablation done. My husband and I decided it was time that we make it permenant that we have no more kids for my health sake. Since the Tubal Ligation, things have been going well. The ablation made my cycles a lot less painful, and long..... Anyhow, I had my last cycle June 8th. I haven't had one since. I've been having symptoms of being pregnant, ie:) craving pickles, sick at 3-5 in the morning, feeling nausous in the morning and around supper time. And a few others symptons that have made me wonder. Is that even possible? I guess the tubal is only 99% sure that one can't get pregnant, could I be that 1%? Stranger things have happened..... Any advice?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH to all who have shared advice. It really was an eye opener that being pregnant could be such a real possibility. The other night I had purchased a test and before I read the instructions, I posted my question. I decided to take the test this morning. Sure enough, even before I took the test, my period started. So, I'm not pregnant. I was under a lot of stress this last month and the last 2 days have been my first 2 relaxing days in over 3 weeks. Thanks again!

I have a friend who became pregnant after she had her tubes tied! Her little girl is now three!! You never know. I wouldn't wait much longer to find out if you are pregnant. You don't a tubal pregnancy.

It is possible. I know a woman who had a daughter 10 years after her tubal. She had a healthy little girl.

anything's possible. take a pregnancy test and see

I would definetly go get a pregnancy test. It is possible! I know of two people that got a surprise after there tubal. One threatened to sue the dr. Good luck

Yes! Definitely possible. I work with a woman that had a baby after she was "fixed". I would suggest getting a prenancy test. That would be a good place to start!

See your doctor, whether you are pregnant or not something is going on wiht you body and you need to figure out what it is and what should be done about it. Good luck to you!

Go get a pregnancy test. My OB told me that pregnancy was very dangerous for both mom and baby after an ablation.

Goog luck.

I guess it is pretty common to have a pregnancy after a tubal. My friend became pregnant 2 years after her surgery. she had a healthy son, and I believe the doctors paid all her medical expenses related to the pregnancy! Good luck!

Why put yourself through so much stress? Take a test and put your mind at ease. If you are, you are. If you know, then you can plan for your future. Good luck and let us know!

All things are possible through Christ!! I'd get a pregnancy test.
