How Old Is Too Old

enjoy it while he allows you to snuggle with him now. always ask him to snuggle. even into his 20s, 30s he will. maybe a different kind of snuggle. but NEVER give up. they want their mom's snuggles whether they want to admit it or not. :)

I really dont think you should put an age on it S., I have 2 sons and a daughter and my 12 year old will snuggle from time to time, I could never say no. My friend says her son will come home from college and still like to snuggle in a different way maybe just sitting close and spending time on the couch talking or whatever, but someone once said to me never stop touching or saying I love you because when you do they will and its twice as hard to say it later or hug later or whatever. Never!!! He will always be your baby and that is OK.

My oldest would snuggle til he was 12 yrs old. My youngest is 6 and he loves to snuggle and read books together. I say treasure it and create memories as it doesn't last.

It's never to old to snuggle with your son. My son is 14 and like you it's not every day, but great when they do, so enjoy as long as you can I know I will.

I am very close with my dad, and at almost 31 and a mom myself, I still snuggle up with him for a nap! As long as there is nothing abnormal about your son's desire to snuggle, GO FOR IT. I have a 12 mo old son and thinking of the day that he'll no longer want to snuggle with me breaks my heart. Enjoy the snuggling for as long as you can!

Be greatful he still wants to snuggle 'cuz once he hits those teenage years you will be begging him for it! You must have a wonderful relationship with your son for him to want to snuggle with you. I have a 15 year old who was a snuggler his whole life till he hit about 12 or 13, now I'd give anything for it. His 11 year old brother still comes to me with hugs but it's starting to slow down. Get it while you can!!

They are NEVER too old to snuggle!! I hope when my son is 30 he will still snuggle up to me! I understand your concern. My son is a big momma's boy, but theres nothing wrong with that! Enjoy it as much as you can because it will probably be ending soon. Us mamas develope cooties when our kids become teenagers, you know. ;)

My son is about that age, and he still snuggles too. He still will ask me to lay with him before he goes to sleep on occassions. One time I asked him if he will always want me to lay with him and he said "Well, eventually I will be in college!" LOL! So, I guess I have a few years to enjoy, huh?

I just have to say I'm so glad you posted this, I was thinking about this very question lastnight when I was snuggling with my 12 year old son. I dont ever want it to stop but I was thinking "Am I violating him? Doest there come a point where its illegal to snuggle with your kids?" But he loves it and he comes up to me to snuggle. I love the replies I read, I'd just love to snuggle with my son when he is 30+ years old, I know it wont be like when he was younger, but he'll always be my baby, I dont want to ever let go.

My 22 year old brother still snuggles my mom! I think as long as they are willing let it happen.

My son snuggled for along time. He his now 16 and still likes to come up and hug and kiss me on the check even after his basketball games. And I see alot of the boys on the team that do the same thing. So it enjoy it while you can......
