How Many Pregnancy Tests Did You Take? JFF

Another poster stated that she took 5 tests, how many tests did you take when you suspected you were pregnant? I only took one with each of my pregnancies, once I saw the line I called to make an appointment with my obgyn. There were a few scares in which i did take the two in a double pack, but with the price of pregnancy tests I couldnt bring myself to buy more.

What can I do next?

Same story as Stacey B! I took 1 and I was convinced by my husband made me take the other that came in the box because he couldn't believe it happened to fast!

3 with each of them, because I knew I was pregnant each time and excited to confirm it, but was testing too early. I keep a supply of dollar store home pregnancy tests on hand ;)

One with each pregnancy. My husband wanted me to take another with the first one because he couldn't believe it happened so quickly. He was looking forward to "practicing". Yeah, when your great no need to practice!!

The first time two. I couldn't believe I got pregnant so quickly after trying that I was convinced I messed up the test. Irrational I know, how can you screw up peeing on a stick. But I was freaking out. Each pregnancy I got pregnant in the first month of trying. With each additional pregnancy, I only took one.

One with both children. That blue line popped up quickly with both! No need to double check!

Just one. That 'want to puke feeling' was confirmation enough.

With my first pregnancy I was in total denial. I took 4 tests. The first 2 was with a generic pregnancy test. So I figured that sometimes they are wrong. Because it was generic and it was store bought. So I went to the clinic and they did a urine test. I figured because it was a public clinic that maybe they did something wrong. So I went to my OB/GYN and told them I took a preggo test and the one at the clinic. They gave me a blood test and I finally accepted it.

I took one but it said not pregnant, but I knew that I was. I took the second test in the box the following week, and sure enough it said Pregnant. Then the happy dance came :)

One for each pregnancy. As soon as it was positive I called the OB/GYN. Honestly, it always bugs me when people post on here things like "Am I pregnant?" How should we know? Go to the doctor!!
Thanks for letting me vent.

I ordered in bulk online. I took one a day starting when it was way too early to test. Negative. Then I started to hold it up to the light for over 10 minutes, and I swear I saw a line appear on some as days went by, but almost impossible to tell. And of course false positive after 5minutes is something that can happen, they say. Even the Dr. office urine test came back negative.

Then I bought a First Response Early test, the SAME day I got a probable negative from another test. It was positive! I re-took it, and still a yes! Now I'm 6 weeks.
