Can anyone please recommend a good General Practitioner and OBGYN for myself in the Centennial/Aurora/Parker area? We're new to the area, and would prefer to go with someone highly recommended. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ashley,

I go to THE OBGYN CENTER , they have have an office located in Parker, near the Parker Adventist hospital- the phone # is: ###-###-####- I see Dr. Tracy Etten- I highly recommend her, she delivered my last daughter and I had unexpected complications with the delivery and she did a great job taking care of me. I feel very comfortable with her. My general practitioner is in Highlands Ranch where I live, probably too far for you. Good Luck! K.

Hi Ashley, I go to Espirit Women Care. They have an office at the Parker Adventist Hospital building off E-470 and Parker Rd. They have great doctors, my favorite is Diane Schmidt. Good luck and welcome to town.

I would Never go to Brent Keeler again, I had pre eclamscia and he did not help me. He delivered me at 31 weeks but would not help me I could have died I could not even walk to the NICU to see my babies. It was not until a week later he finally gave me the meds to help me!

For my family doc I use Laura Makaroff in Parker and she's wonderful. She's off E470 and Parker Rd right by Parker Adventist Hospital: ###-###-####.
I also have a good friend who is a family doc, and her practice does OB as well. Her name's Archie Villavert, and she's near Med Center of Aurora South: ###-###-####. These are 2 really great docs, and they are both women I really admire. Hope this helps.

Hi! I'm a neonatal nurse practitioner and work with a lot of OB/Gyn and FM docs. The best group (if you want women)for OB/Gyn is Stephanie Penrose and Kim Larson-Ohlsen. They're both EXCELLENT, up-to-date, wonderful docs and people. If you don't care if they're women, Dr. Brent Keeler or Dr. Steven Stoll are also really good. It's a lot harder to pick good FMPs, but Drs. Paige and Jeff (I think that's his name) are both specialists in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (overachievers!). They're both REALLY smart and nice. Another good group for family medicine is Dr.Gieseke (I can't remember her first name or the other people in the practice, but they're really nice and seem good.
Good luck!
