Searching for a Really Good Obstetric/gynecologist in Cincinnati

Hello everybody! I moved from Puerto Rico to Cincinnati 10 month ago. I have a 11 month old baby and right now I'm 3 month pregnant. I dont have a primary physician and I really dont know of a good ob/gyn doctor. I wait one month to visit one doctor but he was a great disappointment. I ask the pediatrician of my baby but she told she doesn't know any (she is new here too). I'm in desperate need of a good doctor because the time is passing and I'm afraid of not getting the prenatal care I'm suppose to.
I preferred an ob/gyn doctor who speak spanish but is not have to be like that. I will appreciate any information you can bring me. God bless!

What can I do next?

I LOVE Lisa Gennari with Associates in Womens Health. I've been seeing her 6 years. Be prepared to wait (sometimes as long as 20-30 minutes in the exam room) BUT once she arrives, I have NEVER felt rushed and she has always been very very helpful :)

I go to the Seven Hills Women's Health Center. I see the midwives there and they have delivered both my children. I have been going to the practice since I was 18 and I love it. They have offices in Eastgate and Milford.

I love the docs at Group Health Associates. www.cgha.com
They are all over the city, I've gone to Clifton and Western Hills, have seen at least 5 different docs from the group and love them all. You can stick with one or go to them all.

I use Rhonda Whitten, who is a nurse-midwife at Crescent Women's Medical Group. I like her a whole lot. The practice is near Bethesda North hospital.

My OB/GYN is Dr. Ted Lum and he and his staff are wonderful! He just added another doctor to his practice (also very nice), so you will get to know them both well before delivering. I chose him several years ago after he was recommended by multiple nurses at Children's Hospital as their favorite OB/GYN. He's just fun and personable and truly cares about all his patients. His office is a few blocks south of Children's on Burnet Ave. His office phone is ###-###-####. Best wishes!

Dr. Bowen in Springdale is great. I was referred to him by a friend. I went to him throughout my pregnancy and he delivered and circumcised my son. I will go to him throughout my other pregnancies as well. I highly recommend him.

I can suggest a Family Practice Physician who speaks Spanish, who could suggest an OB/GYN for you. Her name is Dr. Rocco Tussey and she is part of Alliance Primary Care in Evendale. Your entire family could go to one doctor (except for yoru prenatal care and delivery) I have heard wonderful things about her and I go to one of her associates (who graduated fromt he same UC program). They have a great nurse practitioner to see if you have a medical issue that needs to be responded to that day.

I go to For Women. They have an office in Clifton and one in Reading. I go to the one in Reading. The information is 10475 reading road, suite 307, cincinnati, ohio. ###-###-####. This is an office of 8 doctors. During your pregnancy you will see the 7 that deliver. It just is who is on call that will deliver. I use Dr. Elizabeth Clark as my primary, Dr. Horn delivered my oldest and dr. Wurzbacher delivered my twins. I really liked all; however, like with anything, there is always generally one that may not impress you the most, but they know what they are doing. I would not go anywhere else. They deliver at Bethesda North, which has a level 2 NICU and they deliver at Good Samaritan which has a level 3 NICU. I personnally would not have my child at any hospital that did not have a level 3 NICU. You never know if you might need it.
Good luck with your pregnancy. Also, I don't know if you have a pediatrician for your 11 month old, but my suggestion and opinion is to stay away from Sharonville Pediatrics.
