Try Dr. Valerie Ratts at Barnes (I think). She's very good.
I am getting nowhere fast with my general doctor and although I like my obgyn, I'm not getting any answers to my questions/issues from her either. Someone mentioned I should see an endo and after more thought, I agree, and it should be covered by my insurance (I know an RE would be better since we are TTC, but insurance doesn't cover that.) I'm working on the referral aspect now, but I was hoping that maybe someone here has seen an endocrinologist that they liked?
Anywhere in the general St.Louis-St.Charles Co. area is fine, I just want to see someone who knows what they are talking about! (My doctors keep doing the wrong tests, or the right tests at the wrong time, which is getting incredibly frustrating.)
Thank you!

You should definitely see an endochrinologist. If your regular doctor is trying to handle this condition on his/her own, that's a problem. My teenage daughter has PCOS and sees Dr. Rebecca Green out of Children's Hospital. She's a really good doctor, but for kids only. However, she must have patients who outgrow her services and have to go to an adult's endo doctor. So, maybe she could point you in the right direction. Her email address is: ____@____.com
You can call the one I go to, hes located in St Charles. Gateway Endocrinology Assoc.
