My family and I go camping quite a lot during the summer but only go to a handfull of places. Do any of you Moms have a favorite camping qround that you like to go to? Somewhere not too awfully far from the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. Thanks so much!
we go at cedar hill state park becasue is like 20 min from my home also ray roberts state park and possum kingdom state park
Define far..... :) We always camp on the gulf coast of Florida in one of the state parks. Our favorites are Grayton Beach State Park on Hwy 30A in Santa Rosa Beach and Henderson State Park in Destin. The oil spill has not reached that part of the gulf (yet, arrrgh!) and it's still beautiful there.

Lake Texoma or Bever's Bend state park in Broken Bow ok. Are our Favorites.
Oh and their Cooper lake outside of Sulphur springs or cooper. Depending on which side of the lake you go.
