Anyone Heard of Arbonne and the Figure 8 Weight Loss Program?

I went to a Ladies Day Out fund raiser at my 1st grader's school. There was an Arbonne rep discussing the Figure 8 weight loss program and the vitamins. It's expensive but if it works, it would be worth it. Anyone ever tried it? The skin care products look interesting as well. Would like to hear from people who have tried it before spending all that money:)

What can I do next?

Sorry I don't know about the weight loss program, but I do love the baby products...especially the baby wash, lotion, and diaper cream. My 8 month old is allergic to a lot of products, but not this one!

I am a personal trainer. Any system will work if you stick with it. I like Arbonne products, but there's nothing magical about them or any other product.

Anyone who wants to lose needs to control food intake and workout regularly. Forever.

I've used the Arbonne Re products for over 6 months and I really like how my skin feels and looks. They are expensive but I think they are worth it.

I have heard of Arbonne but have not used the products.

Spend a little time comparing Great reference of SKIN DEEP site from ewg.org (Environmental Working Group)

http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com or Click here: Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database

(1) Just Enter a Name of a company in the Search box.

(2) You'll see the toxin level in those products 0 - 9+ out of 10 as worst.

(3) You can see various ingredients used and what the toxic level ewg considers them.

(4) IMPORTANT: By "company", click the company name and you'll see whether they signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics and do no animal testing. Again, most don't measure up. There is also a list of boxes above the company checked which show their ingredients have been linked to cancer, etc., etc.

You'll be amazed at the toxin levels most company products have...even the ones who say they are safe (see some below)...and how many have NOT signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics...or who say "yes" to animal testing.

Arbonne
Aveda
Avalon Organics
Aubrey Organics
Bare Escentials
L'Occitane
Origins
Jane Iredale
Melaleluca

I use this website a lot to check out products - I am always looking for safe, non-toxic, green products.

There are no "magic pills or programs" for weightloss! It is all about choosing the right foods, portion control, and exercise! If this program supports these three things...and you feel it is something that you can stick with for a LIFETIME, then go for it!

I recently lost 70 pounds with Weight Watchers. I have totally changed my outlook on food (and I am vegan), I ENJOY exercising! So, I strongly believe that a "support system" is the best way to change your lifestyle!

Go for it. & keep us posted on your success!

I am an independent consultant with Arbonne and I would love to talk with you about our amazing Figure 8 weight loss line. I first started with Arbonne when my mom was diagnosed with a very aggresive form of breast cancer. I then found out that my grandma had also battled breast cancer and now I was high risk. The nurses that worked with my mom at chemotherapy began to educate her on how so many of the things we purchase, use and consume on the market can actually being causing us to get sick and even get cancer. I was disgusted. I began to look for healthier option because I did not want ot go through what my mom was. This is when I found Arbonne and began to replace my unhealthy products with Arbonne products. The figure 8 program definitely works and most importantly it is healthy and safe for you. It has helped me and others that I know to get rid of extra weight. Many of the products on the market contain ingredients that are harmful for you. Arbonne prides itself in being 100% pure, safe and beneficial. I am so excited that you have heard about us because you now have so many healthy options open to you! Please contact me and we can talk more about what would work for you and answer any of your questions. My number is ###-###-#### or by email ____@____.com.

Sincerely,
S.

I used the Figure 8 Detox tea and I can't say it did anything for me, but I liked the taste. The weight loss chews taste good, but have sugar/corn syrup in them which is a bit contradictory. As for the RE9 antiaging skincare line - I absolutely love it! I can't live without the eye cream! It's great! Most of the skin care/makeup products are good. I use the mineral powder foundation, mascara, hand & foot creams, skin conditioning oil, lip glosses, lipsticks, and various other things. Hope this helps.

I went to an Arboone party, and I ordered the kids lotion and shampoo for my kids with mild eczema and was unimpressed. My daughter said it burned her face. I didn't order anything else. I have a couple of friends that do sell it, and really love everything. I also got a free sample of their skin care regimem, and didn't love that either. I'm sticking with philosophy products. Seem to work for me. Good luck!

I've heard of Arbonne and actually spoke to a rep. a few times who gave me some samples and a catalog. They were facial products and to tell you the truth, they just seemed over priced and didn't do much- for me. It might be different for others with other skin types. As far as weight loss is concerned, the old fashioned way works the best. I used to work for a fitness facility and believe in them so much I'm now just a memeber- I have no free time to work. It sucks, but the healthiest way to lose and the way to keep it off is working at it. We all had to re-train our mouths from the "I can eat whatever I want, I'm pregnant" to the "I want it but I don't" and then hopefully overcome it. I give in- it's normal and healthy to, but Spring is here and it's the best time to put your tot in a stroller and speed walk outside. I go to the mall before it opens- since we're up anyway- and walk there in the winter. But the biggest is diet and exercise. I get up at 5:45 to work out before my family wakes up and be home. I do a quick 30 min. workout 3x a week and I deserve it. I don't mess up anyone's schedule, but everyone thinks I'm nuts. I've lost almost all the baby fat, a couple are left and I'm ok with that. It's a lifestyle change- not just a quick diet. Those don't work. If you want, I can give you the name of the club. It's all women and truly works if you use it. Many times there will be a club that opens early around your area. Hope it helps. Oh, one more thing. While my son is in the bath playing and I have to sit in there, I do some crunchies and leg lifts, whatever I can to get a bit in!
