Looking for a Good Aerobics DVD/ Herbal Weight Loss
I'm looking for a good DVD to work out with while the kids nap. I can't go to the gym but I really need to exercise. It's got to be about 45 min. long and be low impact. I like dance and martial arts routines. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I've been taking Hoodia (the real stuff) for about a month but I haven't noticed any results. I was thinking about starting a regimen of herbal stimulants like bitter orange or white willow (or some combo thereof). Any suggestions on that? Thanks!
So What Happened?™
Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions! Very helpful:)

Its not always easy to find time for excercise anymore, is it??? There are many baby/mommy workout videos...this way naptime is never even an issue! They're alot of fun and it gives you the extra bonus of bonding with your little one.
Good luck on the weight loss...I'm right there with you (I've got 10 stubborn pounds to go)!!!

I do tae bo after my son goes to bed. Being a single mom working and going to school it's the only thing I usually have time for. I don't know how low impact you need though the tae bo might be too much but you could also try pilates. The only herbal thing I've tried so far is green tea I drink it and take the capsules that they make and that just helps to speed up your metabolism......hope I could help at least a little

Hi C.,
If you like martial arts and dance, you may want to try a belly dancing dvd. They are really fun, and for me, it makes me feel better about my body...afterall, belly dancing was originally a birth dance, so it's perfect for loosing baby weight... *smile*

Hey C.,
I love 10 Minute Solution - Kickbox Bootcamp. It consists of 5 separate workouts, 10 mintues each. You can do them in the order they appear on the DVD or you can make your own program. Also, if you know you don't have much time left before the kids get up, you can just choose the workouts that you have time for (maybe you just want to do abs today, or just legs, etc). The great thing about it is if you only have 10 minutes, you can complete a whole segment and not feel like you're ducking out on your workout. Ten minutes may not seem like much of a workout, but the instructor really gets you moving. Plus, kickboxing just makes you feel tough!
I also really like the lady who instructs it. She sounds like she may be from Australia or New Zealand. She's very cute, but also really knows what she's doing.
I think I bought my copy on eBay, you can probably also find it on Amazon...

I went to the doctor to get perscription diet pills and got Phentermine. I love this stuff, I lost 45 pounds in less then 6 months. I have taken stuff over the counter and they never work. four of my friends have taken this and they all love it and lost weight. My best friends mom took it and lost 30 pounds. Not all Doctors will prescribe this to you. Dr Burell in mesa on greenfield and brown prescribed it to me. I hope this was helpful

Hi C.,
I don't know much about weight loss, but a friend of mine was telling me about the Figure 8 Weight Loss program through Arbonne. If ordered as a set, you get 2 protein shakes, a fiber shake, supplements, and chews which help to suppress the appetite in between meals. She has a gal that just emailed her to tell her she lost 10 lb. in one month and is feeling great. If you'd like, email me and I can give you more information. Arbonne's products are botanically based without using animal products. They're certified vegan.
